With Kingsville moving down, they may make some waves. John Huston is a pretty good QB. Ingleside has to be a favorite because of Barajas who is impressive. Aransas Pass has some D1 talent at tailback and Sinton, R-F, and Mathis have been consistent. To me, this is the most competitive classification in the Coastal Bend and you never know who will win.

AP is going down to 2A right? And they got Davenport back.

They have a hell of a running back in Butler. He is getting looks from Baylor and SMU.

They might be competitive in Region 4, but I don't think they will matchup with La Marque, Carthage, Coldspring-Oakhurst, or West Columbia very well. El Campo might be a darkhorse for Region 4.

Speak of local SA-area 3A's, quite of few good ones around. Navarro is starting to look like a consistent playoff team with a decent sr. RB, La Vernia returns a few from it's run last year including a good LB, Sam Houston being a D1 factory it is, and Devine even though the Gingerbread Man is gone, the other 1K rusher and a good DE returns among a decent core returning.

El campo has a lot to prove as far as post season goes. It has always been ranked fairly high , but has recently had early exits to fellow elite teams. I've never had a chance to witness the play of Coldspring, but from what i understand they are well coached and nothing to sleep on. Also i think if la marque can find early success in its passing game with the new QB and receivers, the run game will almost always be available.... so having both early and having the time to find our rhythm will put us in a great position against Stephenville.

Sinton is 37-2 last 4 years in non playoff games and defending district 30 champs 4 straight years(2009 3 way tie) and return a experience team with lots of size on the offensive and defensive lines, some div 1 possiblities. Sinton has had a lineman go d1 past four years and this year could be atleast 2.
Sinton returns their soph qb, all their running backs and 4 wr from last year team. Should be a strong team to start the season. Non District games that should be a good test for Sinton will be at Yoakum and at Rio Hondo.
Sinton scrimmages are at Beeville on saturday and then following thursday CC Ray comes to Sinton.
Sinton should make it 5 straight district titles. My picks: 1. Sinton(Div 2) 2. Rockport Fulton(Div 1) 3. Ingleside(Div 2) 4. West Oso 5. Orange Grove 6. Robstown
DC has the top 3 as: 1. Sinton 2. Ingleside 3. Rockport Fulton

Ingleside has never finished worse than 2nd in district over the past 8 seasons, they are also 3-3 with Sinton over the past 6 seasons. this season wont be any diffrent. if the Mustangs dont win a district title they should finish 2nd they also have beatin Rockport the last 3 consecutive seasons.....Should be able to tell alot from the first game of the season against Refugio, that game might set the tone for the rest of the season....we should be fine considering we lost a lot of talent to graduation....mostly recievers and secondary and refugio can make you hurt there if weak.....there's no doubt Sinton is the favorite in district and rightfully so they are bringing back one tough team and should win district and Rockport will be tough again this year, so this should make for some tough and fun match-ups....along with Orange Grove, West Oso and Robstown. coming into the district.
1. Sinton 2. Ingleside 3. Rockport 4. Orange Grove 5.West Oso 6. Robstown
this is how i see it.
