This guy is funny....anyone who thinks coaching decisions are the same for a one game series as they are for a three game series really knows nothing about coaching. That being said we all know the importance Chap puts in game 1 of a series. LOL...this guy you speak of has forgotten more coaching than most have learned. It's obvious

That's great, but that's no indication that he knows what he's talking about in reference to baseball decisions made by Coach Chapman. Saying woulda, coulda, shoulda is applied to teams no longer playing, like his alma mater.

It would appear neither of you are authorities on the matter in reference to resume. In fact, your false appeal to authority would suggest because Calallen93's senior year, they beat GP badly, he is an authority on the subject. lol Silly. I realize it's just another thread where you try to run something Calallen, down. But, enjoy your seat, they're playing, you and the 13 year amateur baseball coach are watching.

Okay...I'll bite...I have only coached little league for 13 years and won a few league championships, as well has himself. I have coached a few select teams winning a few tourney championships, as well as himself. Now I nor he are not qualified to teach, therefor winning a highschool championship is not in either of our futures. But does that not give us the right to give our opinion on the subject? Does Chapman have the right to not give HIS opinion on UT's baseball? I mean...how many National Championships has Chapman won? Get my point? Now don't try to say that I'm implying that he or myself know as much as Chapman, but we have an opinion that we would like to express on this forum, I feel waterboy is qualified to do so.

I wasn't speaking to his extensive career coaching LLBB, nor yours. I'm speaking of your reference to his playing on a football team. Your opinions are noted, but as worthy as any bleacher bum. Is Chapman giving his opinion on UT baseball? Has he? Or are you coming up with a hypothetical to defend your posit? I don't care about his opinion nor that he shared it. In fact, it doesn't really matter to most of us. But when it is held up as superior to someone else is when it becomes amusing. Particularly in criticizing a coach whose career has spanned 30 years and 3 state titles and an incredible amount of D1 players. You and his LLBB coaching experience is dually noted, and weighed as much as anyone else on this page, certainly no better.

Using Chapman's opinion of UT baseball is just an example. You always take everything I say to the extreme and I was trying to convey it waterboy knows a little something about baseball...now what do you bring to this? Oh ya...nothing.

If I need advice on winning a LLBB game, I'll go to you all. If I need advice on winning a High School State championship, I'll go to Chapman. It's all relative. I'm not making this about me, you are. I've put forth no resume on the subject, nor claimed to have profound knowledge on the topic. If anyone is showing hate, it's the usual suspect, you.

Never want to see another quote from him about playoffs should be played in series! Can't say I like the way the locations for each game worked out. I hope they have a system in place to atleast we Calallen folks get the majority seating at our house because it sure the heck is not going to be that way at Cabiness, pre sale tickets or not or whatever stipulations put in place.

I had planned on going up for the game, but with those arrangements, not likely. I'll be listening to Mike G.
