Jeremy Brittain is having surgery tomorrow on his knee and will be out 4-6 months recovering. Just think how much better T-M would be with Brittain on the field. Throw in Tommy De Los Santos and Justice Flores in the batting order and the infield and Scheible playing center and pitching and wow! Poor Davila lost a $#%load of talent. When Scheible gets on a roll, he can hit long ball after long ball. The kid has grown a lot too...I saw him during the Calallen tournament and he must be 6'3" now. Maybe if otter had taken over the reigns last year as opposed to this year, those kids might have stayed. Just good parenting, JD. You know....we have talked about this.

I don't know if we'll play tonight. Pretty heavy storms in the area. Not raining around the high school yet. But the thunder is pretty loud.

Final unoffical score card Calallen 8/6/5 TM 4/6/1
rough start again but we seem to find a way to rebound from early mental and misplayed balls TM is a little scrappy team I think we a little luck they might just crawl in the 4th slot in the play-offs

Just imagine if they had the hurt kids and those that left. Makes me wonder if Davila is the right man there. That was a mass exodus this past year. I think otter and him are buds so this might get overlooked. One good note at TM is Coach Summer might become one of the new administrators...what a great guy and fan of TM athletics. I can remember him with his hand on my shoulders calling the plays saying JD...don't throw a pick!

Next year I wonder how it going to fall with Calallen going to the GP district and leaving ya'll with teams that r on the up as FB, TM, Alice, Moody and even Ray has a very young team with only 3 sr. on the club

TM will be with Cal in the "Gee Pee" district. TM has a scrappy team and they will contend for a spot. Calallen will not get out of the region much less the second or third round if we don't treat every game as a must win and play with a lack of urgency. Last night was a tad discouraging with some very sloppy infield play. How the boxscore only listed one error, I don't know? We may need an upset soon to snap the sense of inevitably out of these kids.

He was principal when I was there but he was seeking to take over for dr nelson but the district screwed him over and passed him up for a guy that reminded me of a weasel... Sumner had some really athletic kids too... He might get some pride back in that district and make it to where parents actually get involved in positive ways with the school and get rid of some staff that really don't care about kids or TM community in general...

Maybe it's a coincidence but the last State Championship team played summer ball together...all 19 of them...the old parks and rec. league....and most of them also played football....the select era ruined the team concept....it's great for the individual player...but they end up playing as individuals....if I remember....a couple of guys played select on the weekends....but were there for the weekday city ballgames...gave the ol' coach some idea of what was coming....now we got guys staying with host families for the entire summer....that should be reserved for the guys that end up playing college ball...cape, Minnesota, NY, etc.....and....I know, I know....gotta give you're son every chance to get a look...but......just saying....I hope the current group goes all the way and brings back the state title and adds to the collection....🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
