All these posts reiterate my point don't pitch Carter against PLC, grow a soph on the big stage with more pressure just by virtue of the venue. Have an option against Moody in case Humpal doesn't have it. in these non-district games push your young guys see what they have, poise yourself for a deeper run in the playoffs don't be satisfied with just getting in. Moody's young guys pitched today. Learn how to prep Mims to be the guy next year as a Senior. All this is relative are Humpal and Carter good 1 and 2 pitchers, and if they are off then you have plenty of arms, pitching will be critical. And hitting getting more reps than you do in practice is the mark of a commited player. 30 Reps a day won't cut it. Agree with all you have said gentlemen, bounce back against Calallen and Moody, not TM, Kingsville, Alice or Ray all can win on any given day. Success in a program does not have a grade level on it(ala.. Moody and Calallen) just game performance and the intagibles to stand tall in the face of adversity and whip it. Commited FB supporter! Welcome to the forum. The more Hornets the better. :-) barf Just ignore this guy. He's just a Calallen river rat, left handed, quirky aggie that works at UT. Oh, and the forum admin. LOL
