Who is Skoruppa's dad? It isn't Glen...is it Keith or did they have an older brother? They do have an older brother Arthur, but his kids are much older. That is a good family. They even had a skoruppa in the 90's that played soccer for GP... but I know Glenn has a son who'd be close to high school age by now. I hope the kid does well. TM Ryan's dad is Ernest very good down to earth family lovely wife Suzzy

G-P 12 T-M 6, final. G-P finishes pool play undefeated. Looks like a rematch with T-M tomorrow at 4:00 pm for the Championship of the "real" Wildcat Classic.
G-P now 4-2-1 on the season. T-M suffers the first defeat. G-P scored 9 runs in the bottom of the 5th to overcome a 6-3 deficit.

They had a kid hit a 365' shot over center field fence yesterday, did have a little help from the wind, but it was still a well hit ball.

Rockport had a freshman named Cameron Noles start and get a win today over TM today. Good loooking lefty.
R-F: 9 T-M: 0
The Pirates also had a kid named Rex Hoyt hit a HR yesterday, a no doubt about it line drive. It was out before the win could catch up to it.
Hoyt had 3 doubles, a HR and 7 RBI in the tourney.
He hit another bomb today that almost went out against that 35 mph wind.
Matt Lara had a HR for Robstown Thursday.
Deal is Robstown was 1-3 going into today's game.
Good showing by the G-P Wildcats.
Ingleside ended up winning the Tourney.
I don't think anyone picked them as the favorite ...

Ingleside beat GP 10-1. GP bats were dead. Ingleside also had a big inning, kind of knocked the wind out of GP sails. All in all GP played well, gave some younger players some experience. Of course would have liked to win the tourney, but had a respectable showing.
