I am told that if Moody beats Alice, a 1-game playoff for district will be scheduled this week. With the second place (upper) bracket looking like the more appealing route through region 4.....well.........just saying that it WILL matter who you play in those mandatory 1-gamers.

This might generate some money for the old booster club. Where will it be played? Aviator is neutral enough I would think and y'all seem to like it there!

I wonder if he knew that all along and saved Mathison for this game? Not that it mattered, Arevalo shut down Carroll.

I heard Cabaniss, but that is not official at all. Avaitor shall I say needs some work. They made a big mistake letting the grass take over the infield dirt without leveling it off with the rest of the infield grass. Plus the dirt boxes that is around the base pads are too small. Kind of looks like a playground practice diamond. I don't know if it's enough to keep us from playing there? Who knows?

I wouldn't be surprised if Alice didn't win that one playing at home. It could be Oliver's last time to play in an Alice uniform.

No way...Curiel has them playing too good right now. They're playing the best of any team in the Coastal Bend right now!

NOT MANDATORY------*No games in this series shall be played prior to Friday of that week due to STAAR tests. No travel is allowed in association with this series until at least the end of the school day on Friday, May 11. If there are any conflicts between an Area baseball series and the state track meet, it is recommended that schools schedule only a one game series

We gave up the mistake in the 6th inning, but still almost came back to beat them in the 7th. They are playing good, but we had them and let it go.

Yes, you guys (Bluff) have really been on the short end of the stick. Y'all have lost several games this season that y'all shouldn't have. The Bluff will be a dangerous team come playoff time. IMO, right now...Moody is playing the best "team" baseball and I attribute that to Curiel. Joe is a great baseball guy and Moody is lucky to have him, especially when Corky got suspended. He knows how to motivate the kids and get the best out of them. They're going to be a tough out in the playoffs.

We're just glad to have a chance to play in the playoffs! That's the difference in programs. Calallen is looking to win a state championship. G-P is just glad to make the playoffs. SAD!
