Not so sure. I think Moody has found itself. Sometimes winning just isn't enough for Cal Allen...I'm sure Chapman told his team to swing at anything, even if the ball hits the dirt, to let Moody get a big lead...you know...to make it a rivalry again. Kind of a page out of the Dan A. Her playbook. The Ref missed the call at Flour Bluff despite us begging them to give all benefit of the doubt to the Hornets. Is that the game you are talking about from the Danaher playbook?

That's true. Moody is going to be a tough out for any team come playoff time. I wouldn't be surprised to see Moody vs Calallen in the Region IV playoff finals. What a series that would be...Whataburger Field will be packed! Lots of good teams in the R4 its always tough to get to the finals, we know it will be a long road ahead.

Bah...Cal Allen coulda won had they wanted to. Not so sure. I think Moody has found itself. I will say you can't make mistakes against Moody or Calallen or they will make you pay. FB had both games in the bag and bobbled a sure out to end the game against Cal and then left a fastball high in the last inning against Moody. Hopefully our bats will come alive because our defense is doing its part allowing less than 3 runs per game in district.

No...CFWB had a wonderful story about Cal/Gp a couple years ago when we were neck and neck and y'all let us drive the field and let us miss the winning field goal. Still brings tears to my eyes thinking about his story.

Loving the intrest that baseball is getting this season. No matter what else it proves how good the teams are playing in this area. Brings a tear to my eye as basball has always been my first love since my first league play at 9 years old in a cub scout league. I played on neighborhood teams even before that but in that league we had caps and tee shirts with our team name on them and everything.

LOL. That was Dave Smith/Smitty or Spitty as we called him. Cocoa and Sugar but he didn't pull that until Little League. The Cub Scout moms might have not gone for that one. He used to put it in his mouth in the dugout and spit in front of the other team guys just to make them think he was chewing tobacco to freak them out.

A bunch of federal dentists came to our school to find out why and discovered that the floride in the water where we lived and were born was the cause. That's why you get floride now.

But we never wore batting gloves. Of course our bats were wood and did not have rubber handles either. Just cross hatched some tape on the handle and got a little dirt on your hands.
