Calallen needs to put together an effort worthy of their #1 ranking soon. Slow starts, weak finishes, and mental errors won't get it done in the long run. Moody is always a team that can make you pay for those lapses so the Cats need to make those a thing of the past to realize their potential. Weather conditions may not be kind on Tuesday night either.

Mathisen vs Senez
Calallen has won the last 4 meeting 13-6, 4-0, 3-0 and 5-0. Calallen will need to play errorsless ball and have the bats going soon and not wait til the middle of the game to get things going. Mathisen last outing he was tagged with 3R on 7H and 1BB 15K in a complete 8IP win. Senez pitched a complete 5 inn 11-0 shut out vs FB and closed up Fridays nites game vs TM for the save. Don't have all the numbers for him.

If Cal jumps on Kenny early, they will win. If they are slow to start it will be another low scoring thriller. Moody will put the ball in play more than the last team did against Mathisen so Cal's D has to be on top of their game. Then again, this could be the game that wakes the Wildcat's bats up. Wish I could be at two games at one time.

On the other hand, Cal better not come out flat or with slumbering bats like they have a couple times lately if they want this W. This could be a really good game which I think could go either way. Slight advantage Cal for home field.

Ditto to what CFWB says. If the wind is howling like it is right now, BBCOR bats or not, the ball will be flying.

My gut says the game will be rescheduled - when I hear from Chapman I will post here . @#$#$ rain Just informed that due to the high winds last night they couldnt tarp the infield - Lake Calallen is full between 1st and 3rd base with a nice fishing hole around 2nd. Plans are - coming from Doc - that if the rain lets up and they can work on the field all day long...MAYBE.... Will update as I hear

Figured it would be hard to get that tarp down last night thanks to the "breeze." Think about how many balls would have left the field last night had we played. No sign of Mr Sun yet and still sprinkling out around here.
