I've eaten there once and it was pretty good. I'm not a downtowner by no means and avoid that place as much as possible but for the atmosphere take them to the www.buckhornmuseum.com/Pretty dang neat place and the last time I ate there the food was good!

Mi Tierra is a couple of blocks off the RiverWalk, in Market square. Very good food, very reasonable. Parking can be an adventure, but they have valet parking, so just put all your stuff in the trunk and let them park it for you. All it costs is the tip! Sometimes their lot is so full you just leave it on the street and they take care of it for you. Never had a problem, but don't leave cameras, computers, guns etc in car! www.mitierracafe.com/location.html

I like Mi Tierra the most of all of the downtown/tourist Mexican restraunts . If you go and Mi Tierra is busy, it's sister place, right across the sidewalk has basically the same menu. I forgot it's name.
Steakhouses. Well , Ruth's Chris but that would five star. But may I suggest or Fogo de Chao. If you want a good steak and you are in San Antonio, you might as well splurge!

We ended up at Chama Gaucha (something like that) last weekend. Damn good stuff. I don't think I ever flipped my card onto "Stop" status.
