SC is currently searching for their 3rd head coach in the last 30 years. Lehnhoff was there from 1982 until I believe 2003 and Ferrara has been there since. What I heard is that he has taken the DC position at Central Catholic.
I thought Steve Hoffmann would be on a fast track from Del Rio home to take over the program but heard he is not. I would not be a bit surprised to see one of the assitants from Steele take over the HC postion at Clemens.
Either way, it was time for change and I think 'new blood' will do the kids in Buffalo Land good. They will steadily climb in numbers for the next few years and I am anxious to see them be competitive once again. No, they've not had the level of talent Steele has had the last 4-5 years, but they damn sure had the talent to compete in the district they were in and they DIDN'T!

Kinda of late in the year? You think they already have a person in mind to fast track to get in before school is out?
SC needs to get back to it's former self. Away from Alamo Heights and Kerrville, the San Antonio area has really lacked in 4A football the last few seasons with teams with enough fire power to stay with the premier teams in the region and state for that matter.

Yes, I do think it'll be annouced very quick.......and yes, I think it is probably already a done deal. You may have forgotten but SV has been 4a the last couple year and they were plenty salty, but, you are exactly right about the SA area right now in 4a............... STRUGGLING! AH has not had much the last couple of years and SC hasn't had anything since 06'. Now NBC has jumped to 5a as well as SV.
