OK i forgot to include that FB is one of the best schools in the area. Just saying it is not the best Actually I would put Ingleside G-P fb and London as best schools in area. JpIII IOWA and TM a close second. Thanks for all the nice comments fb fan. Huh? When you come in guns blazing don't act surprised to draw return fire. Here is your original unedited comment as you seem to have forgotten: "I hear f-b test scores are way low! Just cause u offer college credit classes, doesn't mean regular curriculum is up to par. That's comming from a teachers mouth. Hummmm, think G-P is better." If you want to keep your opinion be my guest but I advise you not to do any research on your comparison like a simple google search to see scores.

Somoan drama queen. Lol. Hope all goes good with spring football. Spring football is rolling along but not to fast this week with the Taks tests. Mims is blazing fast (4.52) and has a certain escapability that is hard to explain. Now that he has added about 20 lbs, he will be even harder to bring down. Sir Charles is growing up as well and looking for more TD runs like the one against GP last year as he gets more varsity experience. Garza and Beauregard (4.64) have been lifting and running and will be a force carrying the rock. Dilworth (4.60) and Mendiola are experienced receivers who should capitalize greatly on our opposing D's efforts to stop the run. We have a host of other utility backs ready to step in and who knows about Tommy Martin (4.5)...he may be ready to run himself in the fall. Those undefeated district champion JV kids are ready to taste victory at the next level and are pushing hard for playing time. Just give us a good scrimmage King so we can prepare for Carroll, King, and C5.

Just 129 days until Week 0 game with CC King. I like the schedule with King, Carroll and then Calallen for the three non-District games. Then a week off to go over the lessons learned from the three non-District games. Then start 31-4A District off with Alice at Flour Bluff Hornet Stadium. Tick tick tick...the clock is ticking...

I hear f-b test scores are way low! Just cause u offer college credit classes, doesn't mean regular curriculum is up to par. That's comming from a teachers mouth. Hummmm, think G-P is better. Well, if that teacher is from FB, she needs to do a better job preparing those kids!!! Hell King, I graduated in the top 5 of my class and now work for a boss who was in the bottom quartile of his! The old adage "A and B students end up working for C students" is alive and well today! I think I'll take my chances with the education my kids are getting at FB. My son and his friends' real education comes from listening to me and my buddies BS at the ranch. It's the kind of BS that will take you much further than the one you get on paper. Seriously though...the top schools are all close, it's up to the student as to how much they want to learn. In FB's case, we just offer more alternatives for higher advancement for those who choose to do so. That BS degree those boys are getting at the ranch is real life. Like you said, my friend.....much more valuable than learning about a dangling participle. And I'd be willing to bet we have their attention around the campfire a little better than the teacher does in the classroom.

Unless G-P's first ND game opponents have VASTLY improved in the last three years, I promise you our scrimmage will test you more than them. Not throwing any rocks as everyone was scrambling right after the realignment for games just saying it would be stunning if GP doesnt start 1-0 this year.

Sounds like they are very hungry to do well and that is exactly what it takes.

You're reading it wrong. I was just talking about this years opponent. My bad...I did read it wrong. No big deal. FB beat Laredo LBJ 49 - 0 in 08 and 62 - 6 in 09. Cal beat them 52 - 0 and 61 - 3.
