It looked like very poor attempts to tackle the Ganado rb on this last score. What the heck was that? Yup! Maybe he's got one of those Earl jerseys on π lol idk but Refugio is straight up getting their butts kicked.

Hats off to a very good and physical Ganado Indians team this season. They took it to those Refugio Bobcats pretty convincingly....nobody said they weren't good. But when playing a team with the pedigree of Refugio you never get any respect until you win on the Gridiron of Glory. And tonight all that Glory belongs to Ganado for a very fine performance in all phases of their game. From what I saw tonight, and even in some games before tonite....I would say Ganado is a very formidable opponent for the Region 3 winner, for certain.

Kinda strange Refugio beat Ganado 30-7 during the season!! Maybe because they lost their OC coordinator to Alice? I can guarantee you that he wouldn't have ran the same game plan that Refugio did. Refugio had zero success running the ball with a single back and they never adjusted.

Yep.....and by all indications it also looked like the Ganado defense was prepared to stop that offensive scheme from the gitgo. It was also apparent that the secondary of Ganado did a darn good job tonight covering the Bobcat receivers. They were able to knock away some of the passes that were on target, and then enough pressure was put on the Bobcat QB that her overthrew quite a few balls. I think Ganado had one interception and two fumble recoveries for scores.....one right at the end of the game. Take away 14 pts and they still win handily, and may have scored off good field position on one or both of those possessions IF Refugio was forced to punt instead of fumbling those 2 scoop and scores. The same guy for Ganado scored both of those TDs.....I wonder what the odds are of that happening, Huh?

Kinda strange Refugio beat Ganado 30-7 during the season!! Huge congrats to Ganado. The same thing happened back in 2005. Refugio beat them 36-14 in the regular season and Ganado got them in the playoffs 7-6

But anything is possible, look what happened last night. I'm just really happy for the Ganado faithful and I'll ride that train with them until it falls off the tracks!

I think Ganado vs Garrison is a fairly equal matchup and I'm hoping Garrison can upset Timpson for that reason. I'd say they are at least 14 point if not more underdogs to Timpson. I do not like Ganado's chances against a seasoned and extremely talented Timpson team but after they did what they did last night I would never say they don't have a chance! Impressive as hell!

Yep....I mean I DID pick Timpson in my bracket. But now that Ganado has shown they can play physical football and stop a very good offense with speedy skill players, it does give HOPE. And you have to be very impressed with the Indians passing game and the brute force they can exert on both sides of the lines. They do have a RB that can pick up 5 yds dependably on 3rd or 4th and short. So not all is as it seems....is it? I guess it never is in the Texas High School Football Playoffs.
