Well Refugio did it again, Ernest Campbell in 2A from Refugio won the 100M with a time of 10.22, one of the fastest s times in the state this year. Congrats to Ernest, nicknamed the Flash! They were dominant in the sprints & relays and he was incredible. And, Campbell actually clocked the fastest 100m finals time at the Texas Relays this year with his 10.22 time. Even more amazing is his 200m 2a winning time of 20.92 was the 7th best posted at the relays! Refugio's 4x100 time of 41.95 was the 21st best time as well of all the schools there which I think is pretty damn incredible for a school that size to do. The 6a times were not good at all which is crazy when you look back at some of those district and regional sprint times from teams like Duncanville, CH, DeSoto, etc etc etc. In fact, there was only one 6a 100m time in the top 10 this year of all finals 100m times and it was a 10.45 from a kind from Dickinson HS.

Finished 6th in the final: Certainly nothing to hang his head about. That had to be one of the fastest fields in the 100m in the country if not the fastest!
