So what or who do they add to repeat? Will deGrom be back healthy? More hits from first baseman?

So what or who do they add to repeat? Will deGrom be back healthy? More hits from first baseman? Do they have any money left after Seager and Semiens $500 million deals? If anything the bullpen needs to be the focus. Resign Sborz, and Montgomery. Evan Carter, Adolis, and Nate Lowe will have big arbitration deals. Leclerc is FA after '24 so he needs to prove he is a lockdown closer to pay him big money. deGrom will always be a crap shoot, I would be surprised if he pitches in '24, maybe he should take a bullpen role similar to what Jon Smolts did to rebuild his pitching arm. www.spotrac.com/mlb/texas-rangers/yearly/payroll/

Or maybe the Rangers shock the baseball world and pony up another $400-500 for Shohei Ohtani. I think he goes to the Dodgers.

DeGrom doesn't return until August 2024 if it all goes good so It'll be like making a trade for top starter for next season. Monty is going to be to much money he'll go to a higher bidder and deserves it but imo I don't think he'll duplicate what he did for a whole season. Otani believe saw he's interested in Rangers but I'm sure they'll have to match the top bidders to get him and he'll be only a top bat til he's able to start pitching again in June?
Bullpen help needed though, Chapman most likely not coming back but if they do hopefully they can get him to be more consistent throwing strikes because he can still bring it at 100+
Thinking of getting season tickets for next season, start saving for that purchase lol 81 games at 2 tickets

I remember it being reported he likes the west coast. I don't think he's needed enough to pay what it would take limiting the money available for other positions. I don't think Lowe's performance and potential demands big dollars. I want to keep Jankowski and Duran as backups.

They said 300,000 plus showed up to watch the Ranger's victory parade in Arlington. I had to replay that to be sure I heard that right.

The Ranger's accolades keep rolling in with three gold glove winners.
First base: Nathaniel Lowe Catcher: Jonah Heim Right field: Adolis García
Silver Slugger will be announced Nov 9th
Still don't understand why MLB does not announce these awards during the postseason to properly recognize these players.

What I really want now is robo ump calling balls and strikes without bias or individual interpretation of the strike zone. It already had it's beta test in minor leagues.

What I really want now is robo ump calling balls and strikes without bias or individual interpretation of the strike zone. It already had its beta test in minor leagues. I found this to be interesting. It was based off Ump Scorecard which shows how many runs per game are affected by incorrect call. The human element changes the entire season for teams. NL East actual standings Braves 104 Phillies 90 Marlins 84 Mets 75 Nats 71 Expected w/ automated strike zone Braves 98 Phillies 96 Marlins 87 Nats 81 Mets 69 The Braves received 6 additional wins over the course of the season while the Phillies lost 6 extra games, all due to incorrect ball/strike calls. The Nats lost out on 10 wins. Wild stuff. Not every division was nearly this bad, Astros lost out on 3 wins, Rangers lost out on one, M’s received an extra 2 wins. But realistically one or two more bad calls over the course of the season and the Rangers are sitting at home instead of celebrating a Championship. I honestly believe that pitching has just gotten so good that it’s becoming impossible to properly call strikes/balls. It’s time for the automated strike zone.
