My former daughter in law Kathy was a guest speaker and she coached with Soluna at Port Lavaca and my two grand daughters were close to Soluna. One of then graduated at Port Lavaca. Coach Lance Riddell was hired as DC at Banquete and they moved from Calhoun 10 years ago. Both were hired By coach Whitaker 17 years ago and Coach Whitaker was a guest speaker also.

Soluna was born on August 24, 1977, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Calallen High School in Corpus Christi, Texas and later graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in Kingsville, Texas with a degree in Kinesiology.
After college, Soluna spent 21 years as a teacher, coach, and cheerleading sponsor.
