Well really screwed up way to start off 2022 but I tested positive for Covid. I got tested on the 30th, because I started feeling feverish and had mild flu like symptoms. I’ve been Vaxed with 1st & 2nd jabs but haven’t got the booster shot yet. The low grade fever only lasted 24 hrs and now on 3rd day in quarantine feel better each day. No fever, coughing but lungs are clear and trying to get set up for monoclonal infusion shots on Monday. Now the CDC set quarantine at 5 days with 5 days masked up. I’m doing OK, just trying to let folks know what it’s like to have a mild case of Covid. All I can do is assume this is omicron Covid strain because the clinics don’t run the tests to determine what strain it is. The treatment is the same for both. I have no idea where I caught it because other than a trip to HEB and Walmart I haven’t been around crowds. Take care out there and avoid crowds because being in quarantine totally sucks especially since I’m on vacation and not being allowed to enjoy it.

Well day 5 and still tested positive. I’m starting to think the new CDC guidelines that you can return to work 5 days after fever breaks is premature. Note; if you can buy some of those home Covid test kits if you can. It will save you lots of money down the road. 2 pack home Covid test kit $30.00 Best price I have found to get tested is single test $60.00 CVS $120.00 Total Access clinic in Portland $100.00 Bridge clinic on Elm st is $60.00. Stay safe
