Guess ESPN should have done their homework just a little bit better. lol I like how the writer pointed out that a simple google search could have solved all of ESPN questions about the school.

Did you watch any of the game? Bishop Syc was horrible.
Guess they thought they could fly under the radar because so many of these schools who have national reps have Bishop in their name. LOL!

I give them credit for being creative to get their team on national TV, But those coaches and administrators should be fired for having those kids play two games in three days. Bishop Sycamore played a game Friday night that they got destroyed in then played IMG on Sunday with the same results. That was nothing more than a money grab for the school.

Trouble is it's a fake school, so it has fake administrators which means no accountability . This was more like a club football team playing under a school cover. One of the coaches does have an unrelated arrest warrant outstanding and a stack of civil court actions against him.

Bishop Sycamore loses four football opponents amid controversy www.foxnews.com/sports/bishop-sycamore-loses-opponents-controversyBishop Sycamore lost four high school football opponents on Tuesday following the debacle from its appearance against one of the top programs in the nation.
DeMatha Catholic, Duncanville, Liberty and Johnson Central all decided to cancel games with Bishop Sycamore, according to Max Preps. Bishop Sycamore had a schedule filled with top-tier programs across the U.S., but after losing to IMG Academy 58-0 and the revelation the school duped a marketing agency to be put into a national television slot, the handful of teams have reconsidered playing the school.
"We have been doing a lot of researching, and after discussing it with our coaching staff, we decided to cancel that game with Bishop Sycamore because they have ineligible players and it would be a liability issue. We think this is the right decision," DeMatha Carolina president Fr. James R. Day told USA Today.

The dropouts came as Bishop Sycamore head coach Roy Johnson was fired. It was revealed Johnson had an active warrant out for his arrest and he was facing a civil lawsuit for alleged fraud.
Andre Peterson, who is the founder director of the school as well as an assistant coach, told USA Today on Tuesday that Johnson was no longer with the team. Peterson said he made the decision after the IMG Academy game Sunday but wanted to wait until he had one more conversation with Johnson before making the parting final.

High school featured on ESPN is investigated, deemed 'scam' by Ohio Department of Education COLUMBUS, Ohio -- An Ohio school whose legitimacy was scrutinized after its supposedly top-tier football team got clobbered in an ESPN-televised game didn't live up to its billing educationally either: It turned out to be "a scam," according to an investigation by the Ohio Department of Education. Republican Gov. Mike DeWine said he is asking the attorney general and other officials to determine whether any laws were broken by what claimed to be the Columbus-area Bishop Sycamore High School. DeWine said he will work with state education officials and lawmakers on enacting changes recommended by the department to avoid a repeat of the situation. "Ohio families should be able to count on the fact that our schools educate students and don't exist in name only as a vehicle to play high school sports," DeWine said in a statement Friday. The state found no evidence that Bishop Sycamore enrolled multiple students this year and concluded it didn't meet minimum standards, including for academic offerings and student safety, according to the ODE investigation launched after the team's televised 58-0 loss to Florida-based powerhouse IMG Academy in August. www.espn.com/high-school/football/story/_/id/32894888/hs-program-featured-espn-investigated-deemed-scam-ohio-board-education
