Rain is beginning to taper off here in New Braunfels but I'd guess we had between 1"-2". What a blessing. Too bad it is about 6 weeks late for our dry land farmers but it sure will help my coastal on my place! I zoomed the radar in on our place and it is coming down in buckets!

Glad that it rained up there. Here in Texas City area it was all blow and no go last night. Black clouds, high winds, lightning and thunder, but only a few sprinkles. Probably 0.0001"

Probably 0.0001" Yep, exactly what we had last night! Looks like we might have had near an inch at the house. I just checked the gauge here at the office in NB and we had about 1.1. Not bad at all!

calm before the storm at my office in Rockport. no wind. One can "smell" the rain though. Hope we get a good soaking. May be a little late for the grain farmers, but the cotton will like it.

I've heard those things can bring some very good Jack if you have the right color combos! A friend of mine has sold some of his for $100 or more when they were only about 5" long!!!!!

But I have been shoulder deep in a cow, artificially inseminating and then later pregnancy checking via rectal exam.
