Just an fyi, Vets had 3 touchdowns taken off the board in the first VE game due to phantom flags. And no. I have North turning it up a notch. IMO, they slept walked against Donna… a familiar name in a neighboring town that they saw as no threat whatsoever. Victoria East is an unknown school from up north for them. They’ll show up with their A game… and their A game is bad bad news for VE. Phantom flags? Must be the same as some of your fantasies about CC Vets beating a Region III team. Fake flags and fake dreams. He must have been watching Scooby-Doo again while hitting those hallucinogenics he has... phantom flags, only ifs, red herrings, blah blah blah...

Fake flags and fake dreams. It is the exact, same old story It never ends and never gets less entertaining. Literally, in his mind there is not a single loss the last 5 years that ccvm should have had. There are excuses for each and every one of them

The only one taking cheap shots is you. This is the first time someone has accused GT and coach Griffin of being "dirty". Playoff football is physical and GT is no more or less aggressive than their opponent. I don't think you like GT because they beat the alter boy/angels of B/CS. I don't like them because when I watch them, I see a dirty football team. Been that way since the first time I saw them. That tells me the coaches do nothing to stop that kind of play. I'm not the only one that feels this way. Just the only one that has spoken up. it's really that simple. Insert gif of Jamaal Anderson's dirty bird

On the who other argument going on about GT with late hits. They are not the only school with that reputation.
Yes they do have a reputation for it from coaching colleagues of mine that play them regularly. But many schools do. TM, many Valley schools, Alamo Heights, Vandy, Refugio, Aransas Pass, Rockport, Pleasanton, Robstown, Buda Hays, Seguin, Austin LBJ, Austin Bowie, Copperas Cove, Killeen, Belton, Ellison, Rockdale, Rogers, Troy, Bruceville, Waco Midway, Carter, LaMarque, Bay City, and a whole bunch more....
Regardless of if they are or are not legit complaints, if a coach allows it, they shouldn't be coaching. Coaches should do everything possible to discourage dirty play. Bring integrity and character back into the game. Now physicality and hard hitting is absolutely needed and encouraged, but do it whistle to whistle and the right way. As a coach who has spent many years teaching young men in the defensive side of the ball, I love to see hard hits, and aggressive play. But like I said all within the whistles...

Hell, Steele had that rep back in the day when we had that straight up nasty defense up until about 2011 or so. Some of the late hits called were deserved and at least 50% were not. None were the dirty kind though ever. It was just that the DC and HC we had back then were awesome and our kids played 110mph with their hair on fire. Hell, we had a lot of teams beat before kickoff because they knew they were fixin' to get the holy snot knocked out of em for 48 minutes! I can remember many times the opposing team warming up and looking over their shoulder at us warming up. lmao I heard from a very reliable source Jinks and that DC we had would tell the kids to hit em as hard as they could but to be nice doing it. Help the kid back up and whisper nicely in their ear that you were coming back again and again for some more. hahahahahah lmao

I find very few teams are actually dirty about it. TM and Robstown for sure have been dirty players in the past. Some others on that list as well. But others were just as you said, hard hitting and kids didn't like it. They never were cheap shots, nor did they try to hurt opponents.
