You just don't get that competition and who teams play matter, do you? Wake up. PSJA N is playing average teams, not good to great teams like the top teams in R3 have to do damn near week in and week out. Again, I'm not saying North is bad in any way whatsoever. I'm saying they look much, much better than they are due to the competition they face week in and week out. They beat Vela 30-0. So What! Vela is NOT very good this year IMO looking at who they've played and how they beat those other teams. I have little doubt North is the front runner to win this region this year at this point. Now, can you point out the last time R4 was competitive in the semis in this division with R3? The first Wagner-Shadow Creek semi in 2018 was probably the last competitive (for 4 qtrs) R3/R4 semi in 5A-D1.... It was just a 3 point difference in part 2 with a Wagner team that blew out CC Vets too... but you did help prove a point, thanks Matt!

I couldnt remember if year two was competitive......I know the final was 45-21 or something like that...I know the first year at NRG Shadow Creek-Wagner was nip and tuck most of the way til Shadow Creek pulled away late...I remember Shadow Creek blocking a FG and returning it for a TD and that really swung the game

It was only a 3 point game at half time. Shadow Creek was dang salty!

I don’t think so. But, IF an R3 team exists that keeps a season average of giving up 100 ypg or less and produces more than 500 ypg… then that team has a shot in a close game. All other applicants need not apply. Mark it down. You just don't get that competition and who teams play matter, do you? Wake up. Now, can you point out the last time R4 was competitive in the semis in this division with R3? That would be before the UIL divided 5A which was only compounded by the fact that the CCISD was only thinking of the district administration & CCVets and NOT the kids/schools within their ISD! Most of these years 2008-2015 a State Champion or State Finalist was crowned from Region IV!!

Who has Miller Played so far this year. Any Impressive wins? None really, unless 35-7 over El Campo without they’re starting backfield is impressive. IT's Not

Sorry I've been a little dense and cloudy on my comments on this North/R4 topic but please chalk it up to my formal education north of the red river. At this time of the season, to me stats only mean one thing, either you are headed in the right or wrong direction but nothing more. And in the playoffs, your competition can easily be just as good without the better stats. At the moment, North stats say they are headed in the right direction but nothing more. Not earth shattering news, R4 is not competitive this year and if not mistaken last R4 time sent a 5A team to state game was 2016. North should do well down south but I won't get too excited just yet. Hoping to see them at ATT stadium this year. I think the 5A1 game is a Friday night game.

Wagner had 3 TOs in the game including 2 2nd half interceptions leading to SC scores. Wagner was 0/13 passing in that game. The first game was when Wagner probably should have won outgaining SC almost 400 yards to 225 or something like that. Wagner led going into the 4th 17-14 and gave up a long TD run to SC in the 4th and a 100 yard missed FG return for a TD. Besides that FG return for a TD Wagner again lost 2 fumbles that cost them dearly.

2018 was at NRG 2019 was at Alamo I wonder why they picked the rockpile over the alamodome in 19? I'm guessing either: 1) UTSA conflict (graduation ?) 2) Wagner wanted to get Shadow Creek out in the elements to try and slow them down...Wagner's flexbone is better suited for all-weather and they probably wanted to negate the athleticism that Shadow Creek had

Another game, another blowout victory for PSJA North,55-0 ,over La Joya Palmview,5th shutout in 6 games ,over 400 yds of offense, held Palmview to under 100 yds.Raiders could just play smash mouth ,run it down your throat football, but they continue to work on their passing offense,3 TD passes by Aparicio in the 1st half.they must have 1000 yds passing through 6 games,to go along with a dominant running game.Next up is McAllen Rowe, who lost big to McAllen Memorial 35-7.
