Here is my legitimate concern for Sinton. Who's the qb coach? Alaniz is out recovering from a ruptured Achilles. Your qb looked like he did not want to throw the ball...maybe it was because the #1 receiver sat out. What that tells me is when the #1 receiver plays, he's the only person the qb will throw the ball to....thats a pretty big concern. As a coach, that type of play drives me insane when I am on the offensive side. As a defensive coach though, I love playing teams with that type of qb. You take that 1 receiver out of the equation with coverages, and that gives the defense the advantage. If a qb doesn't trust but 1 guy, that's a big issue. Coaches have to sit those guys down and find out if there's a beef or what, that is causing the mistrust. As those that have played know, you have to trust your other 10 teammates with you life out there or it doesn't go well.

Last year in the Cuero scrimmage didn't y'all have like 5 guys go down including 2 or 3 qbs? they did, had to stop the scrimmage early after losing guys and cuero hammering them That's what I thought... Thus why Beeville beat them last year if I remember correctly

I agree, good thing about handson is he can pull it and take off using his legs. A dual threat qb causes all kinds of problems for a defense. I'm hoping they figure the passing game out as sinton returns 3 starting receivers. I also noticed a couple of TM transfers on the field for sinton...back up qb didn't look terrible.

LOL Troutman sat out the top receiver and the starting fullback due to minor injuries so yea I think it changed how the coaches wanted to run the offense for that scrimmage. Sinton's offense is supposed incorporate the I formation into their offensive scheme this year. They stayed strictly in the spread. Last year in the Cuero scrimmage didn't y'all have like 5 guys go down including 2 or 3 qbs? yes lost #1 and #2 QBs. Brown went out with hamstring issues and Handson went out with a broken collar bone. Beeville game Sinton lost ILB Moody with a broke ankle while making a tackle and I think Rylan Lopez went with broken collar bone as well that game.

Lol As you Alice people say, it was just a scrimmage. Handson will be fine the more real game time he gets. Hopefully we'll get to see what Sinton's offense will actually look like this week against Cuero. Against Kingsville it was pretty bland possibly due to a couple key players sitting out that scrimmage. As far as Beeville I agree. I think it will be a much closer game than DCTF's 22 point spread. Just hoping Cuero and Sinton leave Thursday's Scrimmage with zero serious injuries and can start the new season with a full roster of healthy players. Don't "G-P" yourself. You're better than that. G-P fans loves claiming "wE hAd kEy StArTeRs OuT" when they lose a game or look bad in a win. Name them or stop it.Β Better to highlight injured players than to blame the coach for every turnover, missed tackle and of course every single loss.

I've seen most of the years Sinton has scrimmage Kingsville and offensively they haven't done much each time even though Kingsville would go on and be terrible but for that first scrimmage they did ok on defense. Sinton defense did pretty much like they have against them with some new faces in there.
Losing Kash Wood 6'3 Wr/TE and heck of a punter to injury before the intra squad scrimmage and last years 3rd string qb that became 1st string also before intra squad scrimmage for the season.
Triston Handson alot like his older brother, ready to see him put up some numbers on the ground and passing. Wr's are there with the numbers mix up couldn't tell who was who so not sure if Nick Flores played some wr. Jacoby James will draw double coverage against most teams if not could see Handson going for the homerun ball with him several times in a game.
Didn't see last years scrimmage against Cuero my job had me out of state that week so looking forward to that last scrimmage. If I remember Sinton defense did ok in that scrimmage and Handson got hurt on a big run and had a td in that scrimmage.
Back to Beeville they usually have some down to wire games against Sinton

And we never blamed the coach for any of those things. Our complaints were legit complaints that anyone would have of a HC that had himself been trying to leave since season 2.

What injury is Wood out for? Haven't heard what the injury was but 364 guys said it was possible he could come back by the end of district play but doubtful.

Now you're doing it. I'm sure you're about to go ballistic but you got this going with your GP comments.
