If we apply Butchdog's tie-breaking rule from the 4a-1-region-4 thread then LV would be the district champ with victory margin > +7 (assuming LV, PLC, and Bee all finish with 4-1 district marks)
Scenarios District Ranking
Let's say LV beats B by +10. Their delta victory sum would be +3, PLC= 0, and Bee= -3. LV- 1st Bee- 2nd (beat PLC) and PLC- 3rd (Lost to Bee)
If, OTOH, LV were to win +4 then the tally would be Bee= +3, PLC= 0, and LV= -3 Bee- 1st, PLC- 2nd (beat LV) and LV- 3rd (Lost to PLC)
Finally, if LV wins by +7 exactly then Bee= 0, PLC= 0, and LV= 0 No idea. Might as well just draw for the ranking

No, they lost the head to head with Calhoun. If they beat Beeville by more than 7 they will finish 2nd at best. But if LV beats Beeville & then RF, they are 4-1, if PLC wins out they are 4-1, and if Beeville loses to LV and then beats Pleasanton that would make it a 3-way tie with LV, PLC, & Beeville at 4-1 each with a loss to one another. Doesn't that 3-way tie then get split to seeding by positive points? IDK, But it seems most like to make it more complicated than it needs to be.

If they do the typical 10 point cap,
PLC is +7 over LV, -7 to Beeville, for a total of 0
Beeville is +7 over PLC,
LV is is -7 to PLC,
So if Beeville wins vs LV they are champs out right even if they lose to Pleasanton week 11 based on head to head tie breakers. If Beeville loses by less 7 they are #1 still, PLC #2, and LV #3. If LV wins by 7 they all 3 have 0 as there +/- and would go to their next tie breaker which could be coin flip to determine seeding. If LV wins by 8 or more LV is #1, PLC #2, Beeville #3

Donโt see it happening but in this district who knows.

Calhoun played probably their best game of the year, especially defensively, to defeat La Vernia. Beeville played their best game, with two huge fourth down stops in the first half and an impressive drive at the end, to beat the Sandcrabs. Both games were upsets. So, I was not all that surprised by the La Vernia takedown of Beeville last night. The Trojans are well coached but La Vernia just has more overall talent on both sides of the ball.
I say all that to get to this. Pleasanton gave the Crabs a pretty good game and, talent-wise, I think they have a decent chance to beat Beeville at home. And that's the game that would upend the apple cart and give Calhoun the #1 seed if they can prevail against Floresville. Safe to say that Sandcrab Nation will be pulling for a Pleasanton Eagles upset next Friday.

But last night was the best Offensive game Calhoun has had to this point this season.

Beeville Jones 14 Pleasanton 21 Rockport-Fulton 0 La Vernia 55 Floresville 18 Port Lavaca Calhoun 49 Biggest UPSET of the night was the Pleasanton defeating Beeville in Pleasanton. Beeville had TWO chances to either seize the title outright or a share of the title & that was the KRYPTONITE for them last season. The matchup with them & Calallen at the same place where they met 15 years ago if confirmed

Calhoun looks like they are improving every week. There's still plenty of room to get better and the Opponents will get tougher from here on out. DCTF has yet to say anything about them except to pick their opponent to win every week. that's good. They might be the best kept secret in Region 4 4A.
Still haven't seen their enrollment number for the realignment. Just guessing they are under 1000.
