The best JV in the Coastal Bend versus the smallest 4A JV... Hmmm... The Flour Bluff JV has been cherry-picked to move some up to Varsity to fill holes left by Varsity injuries, and yet the team performs week after week. Should be fun and everyone on the Flour Bluff JV team gets some playing time. #10 should be resting in the 4th.

A whole lot of Kville seeing number 10 and 5 getting smaller as they pull away headed for another TD. Biggest question is which field will they play on in Kville? Games is listed as Thursday at 7 there.

Games is listed as Thursday at 7 there. I'll get the field information today. Kingsville had a couple of big kids on their freshmen team last year but FB won 34-22. The JV won 39-0 last year. Look for #24 to return at fullback this week and have some big gains as well and #86 should rack ups some receiving yards and TD's.

The block heard around the block...this was one of the loudest hits I heard at a game last year...

According to the caller roster, Kingsville has 9 sophs playing varsity this year so I would venture to guess their JV has been depleted of most of its talent.

It was a little slow in the first half with the Bluff leading 7-6 on a TD pass from #10 to #86 going in to halftime, his 5th TD reception in 3 games. #19 returned the opening kickoff for a TD and #12 added 2 punt returns for TD's and #10 a TD run in the second half to seal the deal. The D started out slow, but was hitting on all cylinders and sticking some Brahmas by the end of the game. Secretariat was back in attendence as well. We did have a couple of kids come out with knee injuries...I hope they aren't too serious. The bye week for these guys will be greatly appreciated as they all have some type of injury nagging them at this point in the season. Good job by the coaches and its always nice to have your entire coaching staff in attendence helping out.
