You don't really believe they played Jourdanton over Flour Bluff to fulfill a favor do you?. That fanbase always has excuses to not ever look bad. You're really making yourself look childish. Just stop it's embarrassing. More childish than them and even you CONSTANTLY going after ccwarcat? Stop being hypocritical. I called out an excuse. Just like you all do with ccwarcat. You guys are unbelievable.

I would disagree on ranking Miller and Vets about Vela. Time will tell but I’d take Vela, they have a program going on down there. I’d love to see how it shakes out. No doubt. At 60-10 (mostly or all in 6A) since 2016… they are definitely one stout valley program. They’ve even performed honorably in the playoffs against really good teams. On paper, I can see how they’d be favored. However, valley schools have had nearly zero success against Miller and CC Vets… at least that I can remember. Mission Vets did beat CC Vets in 2018, but that took a 710 yard performance by the Mr. Texas Football of that year… for a 7-point win in a game CC Vets ran out of clock in. Granted, Vela is a step up from Mission Vets… BUT, it’s also 2022 and not 2018. CC Vets has also improved as a whole. I’ve been wanting Vela on the schedule as a 6A school for a good while now. It didn’t happen. However I may get my wish with them as a 5A1 school now. I say bring it on! I’m looking forward to the season, and I hope Vets shows the improvement over last season that I’m fully expecting. I’ve never seen them live but I’ve watched them twice via stream. I’d favor them based on a couple different things. They are coached by John Campbell former HC at Brandeis, while he was there those teams were SALTY and tough as nails. He does not quite have the same talent level at Vela but he’s got just enough to make them a tough bunch. They won’t ever be a Westlake but they are a threat to anyone south of San Antonio. Just my thoughts. I’d love to see a matchup!

Just like you all do with ccwarcat. You guys are unbelievable. The childish thing is you just can't let it go. Your extreme dislike (since you said you don't hate them) for Calallen and anything they do triggers you on this. If that wasn't true, you wouldn't be so fixated on them in here. I'm pretty sure they are living rent free 24/7/365 in your mind at this point. The only time anyone is coming back on ccwarcat is when he posts another ridiculous, overblown statement on CCVM which tends to happen regularly as you yourself have responded to many.

I'm not insulting anyone by calling them hypocrites it's just what you guys are who do this. Edit: and I really genuinely had no hate for calallen anymore. The fanbase in here changed that when I had the nerve to question the non-district scheduling. Now it is what it is and I genuinely can't stand them.

When I see something I agree with, I agree with it. When I see something I don't agree with, I debate it. Can't get any more simple than that. And again, if you think I'm in love with Calallen, think again. I respect them for doing what they've done the past 35 or so years, nothing less nothing more. They are the standard South of IH37 & Hwy 90 West from SA to Del Rio and SA to Corpus

I’m looking forward to the season, and I hope Vets shows the improvement over last season that I’m fully expecting. Miller has been to the playoffs only 4 times since 2010 and CCVM only 5 times total. Miller almost lost to Brownsville pace in the 1st round in 2019. Again, excuses galore for CCVM's loss to Mission Vets in 2018. Your defense gave up 62 points....end of story and I don't care if they had Payton Manning at QB! Your team did not look good at all against a pretty average Brownsville Memorial team last year and if that would have been Vela you would have lost last year by double digits. That was a 7-4 Brownsville Vets team that got beat by McAllen Memorial 17-35. McAllen Memorial got spanked by Vela 6-42! You better hope CCVM has improved over last year and Vela has dropped off some or your dreams of another semi-finals appearance may get smashed! CC Vets didn’t play Brownsville Vets that I can remember last season? Maybe that was the Round 1 game? I don’t remember it. CC Vets DID however play that McAllen Memorial team you mentioned… and beat them 35-0 in Round 3. Edit: Oh wait, you’re right. It was the Round 1 game… CC Vets 28-0 over Bro Vets. And please remember that I was completely unsatisfied with Vets offense for the entire second half of the season. I posted that on here… even saying if we had to win 3-0 so be it last season. And it’s a good time to note that CC Vets playoff games were 28-0, 26-7, 35-0, and 7-13 last season. 20 total points given up in 4 playoff rounds… to at least 2 teams that were averaging 40+. A defense that has several main players returning. Is that salty enough?

The magazine has been spotted at several retail locations across the state today, I recommend calling ahead before going to the stores as stores will put them out at different times based on their staff availability etc

Hey guys, I can’t find an DCTFB magazine in Eagle Pass to save my life! Any chance of someone hooking me up with the RGV write ups?
