You also can't base conference strength off bowl games records now with dozens of opt-outs and transfer for all teams.
The only bowl games you could even consider would be the playoff and NY6 games and even they are seeing opt-outs.

Which bowl is tu playing in? Ah.... the good whataboutism These are the Aggies P5 wins this season outside of Bama. Colorado 4-8 Missouri 6-7 South Carolina 6-6 They will be 6-7 tomorrow when the lose to UNC Auburn 6-7 The formula. Beat 4 terrible non-conference opponents and then beat 3 or 4 crappy SEC teams. Then you Aggies talk non sense like you've accomplished something. And one of your signature loses was a close one to Mississippi State who got blasted by the weakling BIG 12 member Tech last night. You all keep telling yourselves the SEC is the top to bottom power conference... As Chino, FB Fan, Hounhound and myself have tried telling you it is not. Your obsession with A&M is noted. They beat the teams in front of them. You conveniently left out their win over Bama🙄 which doesn't surprise me. Meanwhile Texas, with all that supposed talent lossed to a 1 win Kansas team.🤣. TU is really bad and its only going to get worse and you know it, and I'm loving it🤣. They are a big joke. Bottom line is A&M even with their injuries and minus their quarterback had a pretty good season. Haynes King will be back, but he will have competition next year with the blue chip Freshman who will enroll next semester and the LSU transfer. The future looks bright in Aggieland. Can't say the same for tu🤣🤣🤣

Saw this on Facebook... Based on the Texas High School playoff brackets. An additional six weeks might be a tad too much, so maybe the old school 32 team bracket might be more appealing.

And perhaps you haven't been paying attention with the recruiting season over at Texas.

Keep it up, tu is going nowhere and I'll be here next season rubbing it in every day. You guys are not only delusional, the jealousy pops right out. Texas has the best recruiting class every year🤣 so nothing new🤣🤣🤣. They will still suck.

Sec hasn't done so good thus far in Bowl season. They need to pick it up a little. IMO Florida and Miss St just flat out embarrassed themselves. And there's no way Houston should beat Auburn.

The Auburn loss wasn't shocking. They weren't healthy and had 10 opt outs. The MS TT game was shocking. I was expecting a close game.

SEC has won one Bowl Game so far, and that was today. South Carolina (SEC) over North Carolina (ACC)
Big 10 has not lost a Bowl Game yet. Hmmm.....
I thought that the SEC was supposed to be THE Dominant Conference???

I thought that the SEC was supposed to be THE Dominant Conference??? Relax. Those are bottom tier bowl games and the bottom of the SEC teams with a lot of opt outs. The only surprising loss was Miss St. losing the way they did to TT, but probably expected since Miss was without 6 starters and another 10 players that made contributions to the team. Auburn had 7 opt outs and was already dealing with injuries. They lost their last 5 games, so that loss to #20 Houston in a close game was no surprise. In other words, these bowl games don't mean a lot. The better teams in the SEC will be playing today and tomorrow. Ole Miss won't have any opt outs and Arkansas will be without two starters. Then you have Georgia and Alabama in the playoffs. How many playoff teams does the Big 12 have🤔 The Big 10 did have some good teams this year. They don't year in and year out. Now that I put it in perspective, you can stop beating your chest now.

So, just to clarify, The SEC teams are the only teams with opt outs, and others on covid list or any other reasons for skipping the bowl Games? Or is it because they ARE SEC TEAMS they are the only ones who count. And by the way after 1 more semester I should have a kid enrolled at A&M. But it still won't make me an SEC Homer.

I thought that the SEC was supposed to be THE Dominant Conference??? They can be dominant when they want too. Lol Do you think for one minute if the SEC was sitting here today with a 7-1 bowl record, so Tex,Flowtown, et al wouldn’t be beating their chest about conference dominance?

All I see here is excuses. What excuses? I really dgaf. It is what it is. You yourself said how watered down these bowls are. If you all would be honest with yourself the numbers of players opting out and not just in the SEC. It just so happens that there are more players in the SEC that will get drafted. The numbers don't lie and you can't spin that
