Can’t believe it’s the ninth game of the season and the six and half road game. Lol.
Weather forecast looks great, might even require a light jacket this Friday evening. No rain…no thunder…no lightning …just clear sky..
There are signs we are on the track we thought this team might be on at this time. Maybe not completely there yet, but getting there. Certainly much better than three weeks ago when we made TM look good. We should get a couple of more back from the injured list.
I expect Soza and his boys to be ready. They are playoff bound and this is their last home game.

It should be noted that with a win in this game, Beeville would be the likely DC.
Having said that, they have no chance.
Calallen’s defense knows how to stop this type of offense… they see it every single day. And on top of knowing how to stop it, the defense itself is a salty bunch and very good. I would not be surprised to see a shutout in this game.

Actually no because they would have to play Miller and that is not an auto W for Beeville and that would give them two district loses if they should lose that one since they lost to PLC . Assuming Cal would then beat PLC the following week, Miller and Cal would have one district loss each and Cal would get the top seed thanks to the head to head win vs Miller. |

This one is over well before the 3rd quarter ends I think. As much as I like Soza, he simply doesn't have the horses to run this race.
If Cal pulls starters the score will end up closer than the game.
