Yeah, outcome would have been different if we didn't have some starters out because of injury. wink wink nudge nudge.
Congrats on the win.

I think we can agree the zebras stunk the place up. If it makes anyone feel any better I did walk passed them in the parking lot and got to tell them they called a horrible game. FB 20 Alice 14

FB 20 Alice 14 They're CC officials, so no real news here. Except, I'm surprised you weren't able to show a little more class and restraint. Yelling at officials from the stands is one thing - we pretty much expect it. 99% of the time, the fans are wrong (probably 50-50 when talking about CC officials), but to confront an official face-to-face in the parking lot? Nothing good can come from that.

Very exciting JV game last night...the soph game was pretty exciting as well. I think the fans were as pumped up as the players after the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the first drive against the FB sideline. Alice kept chipping away at us on that last drive, but the D held them when it counted most. I'm not sure why Jon Carlo "called his own number" for the "Alice JV" four plays in a row when that little fullback was tearing us up for a couple of yards every carry. I think Schaefer made "first contact" on the 4th down though and what a relief (the parenthetical phrases have meaning if you were in attendance).
Alice always has tough kids and they run the wing T very well. Good luck to them down the road.

Chances are very, very high that they were. It's better to just move along after the game, though. Saying "a little something" isn't going to do anything other than my YOU feel better. It's not going to change the outcome, and it's certainly not going to make those officials any better.

Why should you accept crap when it hits you in the face? Not my style. It's not like I tracked these guys down and grabbed them by the shirt front and pinned them to a wall. They happened to be parked a couple of spaces down from me so as I walked by I told them they did a horrible job calling the game. I don't think their fragile egos were too crushed.

I agree it is best to move on, but sometimes it is hard to.

That's not the point at all. You're completely missing it, but I know your comment to them made you feel better, so I'll let it go.

Maybe they will go back and review and not make crappy calls the same way again. Hey, they are being paid a pretty nice little wage to do a job...................DO IT RIGHT!

I agree, it's football and reasoning abilities often get tossed out the window. I'm far harder on myself than any fan or coach could ever be, though. That's how I get better. Not sure what's going on down in Corpus, though.
