Random thoughts
- Pre District is not very exciting: Weatherford, Frisco Lone Star and Arlington Heights
- Should break 100 consecutive district wins this season
- Defense should be pretty good this year
- Last season before we move up a classification
- Have a decent shot to 4peat
- O-line will need a little work but should be good later in the season
- Might be one of our best starting secondary groups in school history??
- Lots of experience coming back on both sides of the ball
- Timberview at home is the most interesting game on the schedule
- Would be nice if Aledo uses the TE more this season

interesting thought that Frisco Lonestar is not very exciting. They have been a pretty solid team the last few years. Should be a good test for you guys unless they graduated a lot.

At least for a decent part of the game???

AA, do you get ramped up at all until the Playoffs? Sure, anytime Aledo has a top tier/ big name opponent (Cedar Hill, Cedar Park, Highland Park, Stephenville, Lake Travis, Timberview, ect).

One has a state title appearance, while the other doesn't.

Timberview is our toughest district opponent so they get included. They had/have the best shot to end our district winning streak. After we get realigned then they aren't on my radar.

With a program as good as Aledo has It would seem (to me) that most games prior to the playoffs would be just to watch them destroy the opponent, knowing most if not all are as close to guaranteed wins as you can get.

Honestly, you dont go to watch the final score. You go to see how the team competes and watch each position group get better throughout the year. If Aledo did not take each team seriously then we would have been caught by now and lost our streak. When you know Aledo will come to play each Friday then its fun. Its ridiculous to say but no one is satisfied with what our program has achieved. There is always work to be done.

Aledo district games are mostly decided by halftime and usually are 30+ point blowouts. And it's going on what 12 straight seasons (just guessing). Got to love that they win. Absolutely what I would want to see but to watch blowout after blowout after blowout. And Knowing without a doubt they will win the game before it even starts. Just seems like it would get a little old after awhile. Remember I took Aledo vs the field last year and I was right. It will be the same thing this year.

If people from Aledo felt like you then there wouldnt be anyone in the stands. Fortunately there are a couple thousand people that go to the home games.
