Sinton brings back a lot of starters... from a team that got blasted by Orange Grove and Miller and lost to a bad Beeville team. I think Sinton will be good but I don't understand all this hype saying they will run away with district. Miller smoked them 62-0? I think. OG beat them by 12. Beeville game was back and forth and won by a TD. They beat RP which beat Miller. Not sure Sinton can stay with Miller but it should be a bit closer this year

They were up 27-21 in 2nd qtr on Miller and trail 35-27 just before half with Miller with interception with Sinton inside Miller 15 just before half, Sinton was up on Orange Grove by two scores at halftime before wheels fell off like the Miller game in 2nd half, Sinton was up against Beeville at half never trailing in that game until Beeville came back from down two scores in the 4th qtr to win. Those were the 3 losses before Sinton turn it around against La Vernia for their first win after the 0-3 start. didn't lose until Wimberley and tied in that one in 2nd qtr before Wimberley score just before half and that game got away in the 4th qtr.
2019 they had 5 freshman starters 2020 they had 3 freshman starters
Most of the players for this season have 2 to 3 years on varsity so if they can play 4 quarters of football starting with game 1 the season will look very promising for a deeper run in the playoffs. Just 1 senior starter on offense last year and it's a big loss so hoping 6'3 JR Cruz and 6'2 God Pyeatt step up with big seasons at wr.

They lost to a bad Beeville team that took Miller to the wire, and they lost early in the season and Miller had to hang on to beat Beeville late in the season. Sinton was young last year but they got better as the season went on. They beat up on R/F who *cough* beat Miller. I think they will win their district, but Rockport will give them a challenge. Outside of them nobody in that district comes close.

But you know Chino, he never cherry picks anything at all. lol Both teams I think are going to be good again. It'll come down to who can stop the other when needed I think and who wins the special teams.

I think Sinton will be good but I don't understand all this hype saying they will run away with district. Beeville wasn't as bad as their record indicated. They just couldn't figure out how to seal the deal. And Shouldn't Miller have beaten Sinton worse than they did. I believe Sinton was ahead at Halftime of than game. Sinton is bringing back as much experience as anyone in the Coastal Bend including Calallen and Miller. Maybe more. Are you going to doubt either of them? Nobody is making claims of Calallen or Miller dominating the rest of the district. That's the point I'm making about Sinton. Beeville lost to T-M dude. Yes they put up points on Miller but Miller didn't have a D. They still lost to T-M.

EVERYBODY scored on Miller's D last year. Using that Miller/Rockport/Sinton examples is irrelevant. Sinton still lost to a bad Beeville team regardless of how anyone tries to spin it.

I still see them as the favorites and R/F right up there. I see them giving Miller a better game this year, but not beating them. They return everyone minus the one receiver. Nobody else in their district comes close to that, at least on paper. Seibert is a good coach, so I could see an upset there. Outside of that they should win the rest of their games, but only time will tell

I'm looking at the district games. No other team brings back the experience Sinton does. I can't see anyone other than RF giving them a game and still think Sinton takes it by 21+.
