I’m laughing at you not at the kids or their talent. By the way. Alice is in 4A. If they’re that good they should win district then region. 7 on 7 is a way for the skilled position guys to work on timing and stay oof the couch. Good luck to the yotos this year Beating Flour Bluff means Alice should win district and region? You give FB too much credit. Lol it's not like Alice was blowing out Southlake Carroll. You're Flour Bluff. Again you weren’t coming in here until August. Only reason now is for an argument. You’re the one pumping up. Alice I’m not sure FB is in the DC race. Blowing up things is your job

I agree on your statement of the 7 on 7. I also don't put an ounce of thought into a scrimmage. Some coaches wanna see exactly what they have with their 1s and others simply want to work kids that are on the bubble to get playing time. Hell, I knew one a few years ago that wouldn't even suit up returning stud starters.

The lines are a teams foundation. You can have all the talent in the world at qb, wr, rb's, but that ain't gonna get you to the dance without a decent line. Not only in high school. Go look at the successful colleges and NFL clubs. They build their teams up front on both sides of the ball.

Again no I don’t and yes I agree with both your statements. Steinbruck will play everyone in a scrimmage. Old 83 was the only one that put stock in a scrimmage. Hell even the pros don’t use the preseason except to see who they’re going to keep for backups or practice squad

Come on man... They matter to King and CC Warcat... I'm sure CC Warcat is getting the screen printer to produce the "we beat Calallen" shirts for our scrimmage in August and we will hear about that scrimmage until December.

Lol I don't think it was Wagner. It was "Judson Memorial" or something like that.

Blowing up things is your job I'm not pumping up Alice. I posted scores. Scores that I know because they were sent to me not because I went looking for some reason to pump up Alice. I agree 7 on 7 and scrimmages are meaningless but the eye test can still tell you if there's talent or no talent. And this group of Alice kids has been blowing out FB since 7th grade. It's not just a 7 on 7 score I'm going by. For all I know this FB group is horrible. So no I'm not pumping up Alice.

And the Steele teams of 2013-2016 prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Fantastic skilled position players all over the field and an O-line that couldn't keep even the weaker teams out of their backfield for a half second! But, they won big with those teams because they had 2 QBs that were unbelievable, RBs out the wazoo that could break tackles in the backfield and bust big ones, and WRs that would go up and get the football like madmen!

I think Alice has always had some speed and very good skilled position players. I think it comes down to how the fronts do on both sides of the ball.

I thought Alice was struggling with participation numbers not to long ago? How is it that people are so optimistic about them now?

I thought Alice was struggling with participation numbers not to long also? How is it that people are so optimistic about them now? I believe a lot of it is due to a really good group of seniors they have this year that were dominant in MS & as freshman.
