Some coach tweeted about big news coming tomorrow in the Corpus area. What's up? Anyone know?

I dont put a lot into 7 on 7 Calhoun went to Victoria & Beat Victoria East & West on 7 on 7 and both the Victoria schools have some good athletes. Calhouns big linebacker they had last year looked good running the ball after the catch I hope coach Wit dont put him at fullback but it will not surprise me if he does he is big strong kid.

He may play both ways. wouldn't be the first to do it at Calhoun.

So much of the offense is centered around them. I like coaches that start with defense first, but I don't mind seeing the best athlete at the FB position.

The whole Offense runs off the reads he makes on every play. But a big strong FB is definitely a plus.

He's getting hit on every play whether he has the ball or is blocking. He's also the 'linebacker' of the offense. He has to make the correct reads and blocking assignments. Its much more than toting the ball through the 0 hole. I don't care how good the QB is, but without a good FB the offense will be average at best.

I agree but beating teams 48-13 is better than losing 48-13. It still shows the kind of skill talent you will have to work with. Now if you don't have a line then it's mostly for nothing.

I’m laughing at you not at the kids or their talent. By the way. Alice is in 4A. If they’re that good they should win district then region. 7 on 7 is a way for the skilled position guys to work on timing and stay oof the couch. Good luck to the yotos this year

You're Flour Bluff.
