4A season is over so might as well get this started. Who brings back what next season?

Calallen returns 3 offensive linemen, fullback, QB (several battling for this), 3 defensive linemen, all linebackers and most of secondary. We have some holes to fill on both sides of the line and kicker. There are some ones coming up from JV.

Damn with the QB's Calallen will be a force to contend with.

That was a fairly young squad and there are some legit dudes back on D. Should field a very solid team and I hope Cal schedules a tough non district line up again.

I would speculate Beeville, Alice and TM to be improved. I think Miller drops off a tad without Body but I still think they will be good. My biggest question is PLC. Losing their bad to the bone fullback and stud QB has got to hurt but do always seem to reload pretty well.

We’re losing 15 seniors from that 2020 squad which includes our QB, RB, & our All State LB. We return an offensive line who have a year on their résumés, defensive line, inside linebacker & a handful of skill players ..... Not to mention them freshman who suited for the playoffs but we need to find a QB and we’re set. The FUTURE is bright for our boys in Coyote Country

Beeville has some question marks, they’re losing their QB, ILB & a handful of players including their line & Spicer, TM will be tough again, Miller need to fill the QB void & their lose some skill players except the lineman, 2 backs & 2 receivers. Calhoun will reload as always despite losing Johnson & Stewart, I wouldn’t count out Whit’s boys in Calhoun

We see all this great talent and winning done for years by the younger Youth through 9th grade teams and it's legit but the problem those teams have isn't something that shows itself at the younger grades as much as it does at the Varsity level and that's - Offensive and Defensive line play. With all the skill position talent Alice has if they can ever get the Line play on that same level they will be a legit threat to be in round 4 and beyond.

I remember a few years ago they were big and were winning those Summer lineman challenges! Who was running Alice’s OL & DL then?

My question would be are all of those kids actually making it to the varsity level or are they lost to attrition? If I remember correctly you guys had a really good group coming up that should have already made an impact on varsity but that seemed to fizzle.

I am interested to see how they fill those gaps though.

Sinton will be a force next year. Opportunity will be there to start the year fully loaded with kids that now have gotten couple of years of experience at varsity with 3 rounds past two seasons. They'll most likely open up rank high in 4a DII.

That group was juniors this season and the main reason they won games. They will be seniors next season and will be better than they were this season. The skill kids are all legit. It's the line play that's a question. Like I said problems at the Line aren't something that are gonna show themselves at the younger ages as much as it will at Varsity. That's just my opinion on why they win so much at the younger levels making their fan's expectations go through the roof.
