It’s crazy! I loved how the smallest kid on the Windthorst team was the starting center, linebacker, and kicker. Kid missed the extra point and looked devastated. Ended up being a blessing in disguise and he wins defensive MVP! This brand of football is fun to watch. He was in the right place at the right time all game long. And up against much bigger kids. He was 152 pounds. He was listed at 5'7" 152 My guess, maybe 5'5" and 140 soaking wet His coach said they would not have been where they were without him. Said he constantly made huge plays all year long. Just awesome for sure!!

I’m happy for Windhorst, they came in with a plan and executed it. A buddy of mine is the DC at Mart and he’s already got plenty of rings. Mart is a lil one stop light town just like many in Texas. What makes the difference is proximity to Waco. Kids want Scollies and La Vega only got so much room for X number of players. Mart has always been La Vega Lite.
