GP King aka Wildbill has Calallen as a 70-point favorite. 37/coyote was probably just splitting the difference and came up with Calallen being a 50-point favorite

I agree but Beeville is young. There not a lot of size or speed other than that Spicer kid. I see them finishing 4rth or maybe even missing out to TM or Alice. What worries me about Alice is they have not yet played a game. They are going to be way behind everyone else in the district. Oh yeah no doubt and it doesn't look like we're gonna have the numbers. I see Calallen and PLC finishing on top. Miller in 3rd and 4th place up for grabs. Soza is a damn good coach and Beeville will get better, bur right now they aren't very good imo.

I've watch 3 Beeville games so far. My biggest take away is they have been inconsistant. But in every game they have played better in the second half.

Some posters need to read all the post and take some kind of pill to help your memory. My 83 year old think tank has you beat hands down. Yes a poster posted his opinion that GP would get beat by 50 points. If you don't salivate over PLC or Calallen , you are insane.

Trinity Christian 40 Cornerstone Christian 28 week after Cornerstone beat Calallen. Calallen must have taken all the steam out of Cornerstone.

Trinity Christian is the 3 time defending TAPPS Champion. Their senior QB is Deion Sander’s son and Deion is their OC. Cornerstone was in that game until Trinity Christian pulled away in the 4th qtr. It’s Cornerstone’s only loss of the season thus far.

Is there a school board election in Alice this year? Seems like the tree needs to shaken a tad more. Really there was no reason Alice couldn't have started earlier. They should have been able to at least suit up today and play at least two non districts. Playing at least one additional non district game with an additional week started earlier for practice would have done wonders.

I personally feel some of these schools who took such drastic measures should be held accountable for the impact on their student athletes.

And impact would that be? Do you have kids in Middle or High School or College for that matter? I can tell you having their routines and passions totally extinguished or put on hold without any sort of answer or timeline while others are able to adapt is devastating to these kids which can have effects such as depression and worse. Some of the "venting" go on out there is certainly a byproduct of this too.

And impact would that be? Impact is that their student athletes were not given the same opportunity to play as the majority of schools. They made drastic decisions only to start reversing those decisions. I would start with accountability for school board. Those are elected positions. They are in place to advocate for students. Alice is a good example of that and I’ve heard several Alice fans mention that’s where it starts for them.

NOPE. And at this point nobody is Pumping up anyone. Nobody but you pumping up Miller. You Hate Calallen And Calhoun... NOTED.
