Until someone shows me they can stop #44 Steve Johnson, I'm going with PLC! If they stop 44, then they have to deal with 15, or 8, or 18. I know, I know.... last week the first 2-3 series PLC was on offense, they were keying on him and ya'll burned them on the outside; then in the 4th, ya'll gave them a heavy does of SJ up the middle and he was dragging tacklers until he popped one for the (dagger in the heart) TD! Ok, let me rephrase it... LOL... Until someone stops that PLC offense!

Just saw on FB the Stadium May hold 150 people, and it’s really more of a practice field, than it is a stadium.

If you don’t have the talent to get into the PLC backfield before Johnson hits the line of Scrimage you got a problem. There are things you can do with a 2-5-4 defense and corner blitz’s and the old fashion 5-3-3 defense by plugging all the holes from a 4 point stance and a forward lunge of the front 5 but your best bet is create fumbles with the fumble prone option. Then you have to score every time you get the ball. One arm tackles are not going to bring down that PLC RB. Example GP. Beeville and Coach Sosa is the hold card. Have PLC and Cal in 3rd and 4th behind Miller and Beeville in district at present. That may change after this week. Cal has a history of making adjustments after the first few games. Coach Sosa has a history of strong Line Backers. Miller has the most talent and can out score you. Staying healthy after 5 games will be important and I don’t know about teams depth. Nothing surprises me playing with a ball pointed on both ends.

I see Calhoun as the favorite to win district at this point. No way they are a 3rd or 4th place team. I don’t see Calallen in either of those spots either. I would 2nd place at worst. I will eat crow if wrong.

Amazing how people take things out of context and their tunnel vision takes over. I.m trying to think back years ago when PLC fumbled 5 times against Beeville. Might be someone can refresh. My thinking is Miller and Beeville beat a very good Sinton team. I think Cornerstone could beat PLC. Clem and I differ on that big nose tackle of Cornerstone. I think PLC had fumbilitis in a earlier game. Old senile guy watches a lot of football and gets confused. I remember when I stated VE had the best ball team in that district after the beat FB and lost to Cal. I still think they had the best ball club but did not have the best coaching staff. I’m not real high on the coaching staff at VE. VE had a backup QB that a lot of people would like to have. I love picking on posters that or making reservation to Jerry’s World with less than half the season played. You have PLC picked to win district, I want argue with that.

Look I think everyone Agrees for the most part that Miller has a very potent Offense. But They can't score from the sideline and Beeville, Calallen and Calhoun will control the clock by Keeping the ball on Offense. Miller, as of yet has not shown that they can stop a good ground and pound team. Sinton and RF were very impressive on the ground vs the Miller Defense. last time Beeville and Calhoun were in the same District was Befoere Soza went to Alice. What happend way back then, Before any of todays players were even playing football bears no relevance now. Nobody is talking about VE but you, also not relevant. You don't really believe your own BS. Just trying to start mess.

Kinda funny how you " remember" stuff about Calhoun but I wonder if you remember the last time GP beat Calhoun in the Whit era ....
