What I am seeing is every team in this district is beatable. I now rank PLC above Cal however Cal was minus one RB. Disregard the Cal excuses on the officiating. GP mayhave had more than Cal. GP looked like Ned and the first reader. Cal passing did not look good. Miller was beat by a team that got shut out by FB. Cal should have had 5 or 10 interceptions. Miller should be able to score everytime they have the ball. Cal and PLC is due at least one fumble. Every team in the district HAS been beat Captain Oblivious, great prediction. SMH He can’t be wrong making blanket statements. Based on this thread sounds like he thinks FB should win this district Oh dammit they ain’t in 4A

I will stand by my phone in case GP suptd fires Coach Rhoades and calls me. If so I will start with basics on Monday . I hope it want conflict with me working with Coach Sam Harrell. They don’t need approval of the school board as I will work for free. I don’t charge Coach Sam Harrell either. OK, I'll bite. Tell us what you would do. No more of the "go back to basics stuff". Specifics: what kind of offense, defense will you install? Get specific!! CONGRATULATIONS 37coyote, you've officially irritated every 4A and 5A fanbase! You still haven't answered my question but, of course, you never do.

I,m back I had to use my IPad map to check a mistake driving through LaGrange. I would have to see a replay before I would critsise the refs. PLC and Cal needs to play a contender and get a good test. Beeville has not proven themselves yet. I think Miller has the greater potential. Please inform everyone on the Contenders Miller has played that are better than who Calallen and Calhoun have played.

This guy that's " knows everything" knows absolutely everything about PLC schedule (la Vega, Stafford, EC ,Bellaire, and now Second Baptist....but yet GP just got beat like a redheaded step child ....if he payed more attention to his home team maybe he can give Rhoades some good "coaching" advise and they might actually make the playoffs ....

GPFannie55 I got some good advice from GPJohn one time , “when a Jackass Brays, you don’t have to Bray back”. Then please stop braying! He doesn't realize he called himself a Jackass, And he's already stated he's always right. So I'm not going to argue with him.

2 pages of posters dumping on WFCoyote/GP37 and not a creative thought or post in the bunch. While you were doing that, I round trip to Bastrop and ate Retino-Alfredo with Shrimp and had great Tomato Basil Soup. I topped that off by watching UT comeback and win over in over time Texas Tech when I got back. Explain to me why I should worry about what you think of me. When you are putting me down, you are leaving someone else alone.

I thought Cal looked pretty good and def made improvements on the defensive side of the ball. We’ve played some very good teams contrary to what some believe. GP is lacking in size in the interior lines and that might be a problem for them. I’m cutting GP a break being that was their first game and Cal had 3 tough games under their belt. GP needs reps and last nights game will make them better. Cal called the dogs off in the third quarter, I’m glad Danaher did that, got some playing time for up and comers.

I thought so also. 35-0 and Danaher pulled the dogs. It’s hard to please people. We will never be a throwing team but Danaher sprinkled in a few and we scored on one pass play but someone said our passing looked bad. Well he didn’t need to throw much.

I think this was a good game for both teams for different reasons. As you said Calallen has played three tough games against some very good opponents. In this game they were able to rest their injured players including Earles and work on some things and look at some of the backups. For Portland, yes not much size up front and that will be a problem. Those kids got beat but they didn't give up. This game will make them better.

Yeah I get so tired of hearing that. You dance with what got you there. If you get beat, sometimes the other team was better that day, not because you didn't pass the ball. Danaher isn't one of the winningest football coaches because he threw the damn ball. I find it laughable.
