What no insults from disrespecting posters this morning. GP played their first game against a team that had 4 games under their belt. Flour Bluff played their First game ditto, Veterans memorial Ditto and Ennis ditto. PLC whuped another church school. Miller got whuped. It gets more upside down each week with the Rockport shutout. Calallen may have a big problem when they play PLC. Both are going to have a problem when they play Miller. Beeville still a mystery.

They couldn’t stop Rockport running the ball and they won’t stop Calallen or PLC.

For GP, I thought they played good for a First game against a good team. QB-WR timing was off. Some work on blocking and correcting some reading issues on defense. GP has something to work with IMO

I will stand by my phone in case GP suptd fires Coach Rhoades and calls me. If so I will start with basics on Monday . I hope it want conflict with me working with Coach Sam Harrell. They don’t need approval of the school board as I will work for free. I don’t charge Coach Sam Harrell either.

Specifics: what kind of offense, defense will you install? Get specific!!

Or that new revolutionary thing they’ve been working on up in Austin called the Wishbone. The radio announcer said Coach Royal and that James Street kid really have that offense running like a well oiled machine.

Just curious. As for the Church school that Calhoun played. IMO their Offense is the One we have played that is most like what I expect to see from Miller. Not exactly like Miller, not saying that but now Calhouns defense has seen something similar. Calhoun had Bryan Rudder scheduled for this week but that all fell through with the UIL 5A delay.

What I am seeing is every team in this district is beatable. I now rank PLC above Cal however Cal was minus one RB. Disregard the Cal excuses on the officiating. GP mayhave had more than Cal. GP looked like Ned and the first reader. Cal passing did not look good. Miller was beat by a team that got shut out by FB. Cal should have had 5 or 10 interceptions. Miller should be able to score everytime they have the ball. Cal and PLC is due at least one fumble.

I,m back I had to use my IPad map to check a mistake driving through LaGrange. I would have to see a replay before I would critsise the refs. PLC and Cal needs to play a contender and get a good test. Beeville has not proven themselves yet. I think Miller has the greater potential.

Their Offense can't score from thee sideline. Calhoun should be able to score on them every time they have the ball as well. If they cannot stop the run up the middle Calhoun FB will go for over 200 yards on them. Calhoun had 3 players with at least 125 yards rushing last night. Calallen and Beeville may be able to do the same thing.

I think Cal and PLC have played what are considered contenders in whatever district Or league they are in. You have one chance to revise your remarks.

Calhoun has played LaVega #1 and ElCampo #6 (at the time the games were played) Both ranked Higher than Calhoun. How are those Not Contenders? That statement makes no sense at all. And Both the "Church Schools" were in their playoffs last year with one of them the Defending State Champion. You just Hate Calallen and Calhoun and are pulling for anyone to beat them. I tried to have a civil football conversation but with you that isn't possible.
