I know this isn't a typical season but lets say it was. You have friends/family coming in from out of state and they have never seen a txhsfb game and they want to go. Which game and where are you taking them?

Within a reasonable area, I'd try to find the game I thought would be the most competitive or the biggest rivalry. That would be my two choices.

Depending where I’m living I might try to get them to experience more than one
If I were living in the Austin/ San Antonio/ Hill Country area I would take them to go see a power program and hopefully a game with a big draw. Then maybe a game like over in Mason where the whole town shuts down and experience a very special atmosphere which can be found in other small Texas towns too. Both are great Friday night lights experiences you certainly can’t find probably in 40 other states.
Here in Calallen, while I wish our crowds were much bigger, they would still get to experience a well disciplined and unique brand of football. A game in the RGV would be fun between rivals/towns that hate each other 365 days of the year and the many food options available at some of the venues.

Which game and where are you taking them? We would probably catch a game with Angleton in it and our district is always providing great matchups. Angleton vs Foster, or Manvel would be great. Other than that Shadow Creek is 20 minutes up the road and they have some great games also in that district.

I think another good option is take them to a 6-man game. It's a totally different game.

I think I’d take them to a Tivy - Champion game in Kerrville. I’ve only been to one game there but it had a great atmosphere. They are big enough schools to actually play good football, but it still feels like small town there. Plus I think they’d be blown away by two high school teams throwing the football that many times.

And you also have the flair of crooked refs to go along with it

Can't go wrong with this match-up, unless you sit on the Champion side.

Well it would be Gupton Stadium watching CP play Vandegrift in their first game, as that packs Gupton. Y'all probably knew that already.
BUT, if they wanted to see one of the monster stadiums they heard about, I would take them to Legacy Stadium in Katy.
If they want to see a "Movie" game then it's off to Permian High game.
