Not sure if the state games will be at AT&T this season. For arguments sake lets say the stadium is available but the UIL is open to playing the state games somewhere else. Where would you want the state games?

I think this might be a good year to let the teams decide. Logistics will be nightmare if the Covid is still a big issue come that time. In other words, you probably want to be able to travel up the same day and come back home if possible especially if hotels, etc have capacity limits. So let's just say in 4A Cal plays a DFW area team, Austin or Collie Station might have to do.

This is being discussed on Twitter. All options are open, according to the UIL. Most likely the 1A to 4A State Championship games will be played at more than one site. The 5A and 6A State Championships will only be effected if the Dallas Cowboys have a home playoff game. El Paso Jones Stadium was mentioned. A lot of chatter about the Alamodome hosting. NRG left a bad taste with the UIL in 2015. DKR would be awesome!

For this season I'm cool with letting the teams from each game decided where they want to play. I think Cochino has liked this idea in the past. Just make sure there is a way to stream the games online.
What? We havent have talked about where the games should be played this season. Things are different and I figured opinions would change for this unique time. I'm not bringing up where all the games should be played in a normal season. I'm strictly talking about this year.
TWolvesFan: Now is the time we get to see where the proverbial rubber hits road in both 5a DI & DII. We will all find out starting this week; who is for real, who will surprise, and who will disappoint! Gotta LOVE HS Football!

arges: Austin ISD has a history wanting to keep their schools together. With the LBJ/LASA split, I suspect they may opt Eastside Memorial up regardless of them not being able to score.

arges: Austin Northeast/Reagan is not include either.
