I cannot speak for any teams outside of Judson, Clemens or Steele because I simply do not know what percentage of the season tickets are sold with other teams. I know with these 3 teams the vast majority of all season tickets are sold each season and unless it is a big game like matchups between these 3 teams or SV, there are far more empty seats in the reserve section than tickets sold! That's sad. FB doesn't have the crowd we had in 04 and 05 but I really haven't noticed the season ticket folks missing. Yes it is But, I guess a lot of the long time season ticket holders are just holding on to them and hoping for their teams to get back to where they once were and in the meanwhile just attend some of the home games instead of them all. You really cannot blame them the fans though when they watch their team struggle to beat teams with less than half the talent! It gets a tad bit old listening to excuses and BS.

Lol the person taking temperature isn't even looking at the temperature before he does the next kid. Am I missing something? Does that thing beep or something on its own if its a high temperature?

I have to check all my guys as they come to work. I use the same temperature taking device. It’s grossly inaccurate. I’m on my second device and it’s the same way. Not to mention it does not detect Asymptomatic people. It’s actually pretty funny that company’s schools and other places are relying on a temperature gun to determine if they have Covid. People need to get educated and quit politicizing a pandemic.

People need to get educated and quit politicizing a pandemic. Exactly and I've been saying the exact same thing for weeks now. My company came up weeks ago with taking temps and reporting it in to them via an app every time we enter one of our offices. I asked them what good that is going to do when over 80% of the people I know who have already had it never even ran a low grade temperature. The safety department could not give me an answer. IMO, this is all just going through the motions to CYA themselves any way they can think of!

The first UIL Texas high school football team cancels its season
Ben Bolt, a 2A Division I team, will not play a 2020 Texas high school football season.
Aug 10 10:38 am The Texas high school football season is scheduled to kick off in less than three weeks, but it won’t be with at least one program.
Ben Bolt canceled its high school football season on Monday, athletic director Gary Cunningham confirmed to Quinton Martinez of the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, becoming the first UIL Texas high school football team to abandon its 2020 campaign.
The move comes on the heels of Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco ISD’s school board voting to start the school year virtually for the first nine weeks of the year, accepting the recommendation of Jim Wells County health officials. That means that Ben Bolt High School will be remote at least through October 9, with no extracurricular activities happening during the remote period.
That would mean that the Badgers — a member of District 16-2A Division I — would not be able to play a game until early November. The first week of games for Class 4A and below, as set forth by the UIL, is scheduled for August 27.
The move also cancels Ben Bolt’s volleyball season.
The Coastal Bend area has been particularly hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, and it’s already impacted high school football. Beeville ISD suspended all student activities indefinitely on Sunday night; Taft did the same last week, as did Skidmore-Tynan. As of Thursday, Jim Wells County — located west of Corpus Christi with a population of just over 40,000, most centralized in the county seat of Alice —had 705 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
Ben Bolt’s cancellation leaves District 16-2A Division I with four schools — Santa Maria, La Villa, Premont and Riviera-Kaufer — meaning that all four would make the playoffs.

Well will see how far we get in this Highschool football season...........
The college football season is suddenly on the brink of falling apart as 4 of the Power 5 conferences inch closer to canceling their seasons The college football season is on the brink.
According to ESPN, commissioners of the Power 5 conferences held an emergency meeting on Sunday to discuss the future of college football.
According to Dan Patrick, the Big Ten and Pac-12 are ready to cancel their seasons, while the Big 12 and ACC are on the fence.
The SEC appears to be the only conference holding out.
Just a few days ago, the same conferences were touting their schedules for the fall season.

After months of bluster and hopes of a miracle cure, the college football season is on the brink of collapsing.
According to ESPN, commissioners of the Power 5 conferences met for an emergency meeting on Sunday to address concerns about playing through the coronavirus pandemic.
Sources told ESPN that Big Ten schools are prepared to call off the 2020 season scheduled for this fall, and were gauging whether leaders across the other four Power 5 conferences were ready to follow suit.
According to Dan Patrick, the Big Ten and Pac-12 will cancel their seasons on Tuesday, while the Big 12 and ACC are now on the fence. Only the SEC appears to be holding out hope of playing this fall.
It's no surprise that the Big Ten is sounding the alarm, as six schools — Ohio State, Maryland, Indiana, Michigan State, Rutgers, and Northwestern — have already been forced to alter their offseason programs due to COVID-19.
The latest outbreak in the Big Ten happened at Rutgers, where 28 positive cases were found across the team after many athletes attended an on-campus party.
The change in tune from the powers that be in college football came quickly — just a few days ago, conferences were revealing their schedule plans for the fall season, with many choosing to eliminate out-of-conference games in favor of an entirely intra-conference schedule.
Instead, it now looks as though the 2020 season could be over before it can begin.
"Nobody wanted to be the first to do it," a Power 5 coach told ESPN, "Now, nobody will want to be the last."
Several smaller conferences and lower divisions of the college have already made their calls, with the Mid-American Conference announcing on Saturday that the fall sports season would be postponed.
While the call isn't official yet, the momentum seems to be moving towards a fall without college football.

They have to plan and book airfare in some cases and the bigger issue of hotel rooms and multiple meals for very large groups. They always put 4 to a room and they can’t do that due to social distancing etc. A lot of complexities that aren’t an issue for high school football.

I for one would love the kids to have a season and I hope it turns out ok for the kids with no medical problems but Highschool football has its own issues locker rooms buses sidelines Practices weight rooms ect,,,,,

Plus you have parents watching over the kids instead of 18/19/20 year olds making stupid decisions like attending big parties.

My barber for over 45 years passed away this morning. Juan John Johnny Garcia of Hamlin Barber shop passed away this morning from Covid19. I have been waiting for him to come back as I need a haircut. He did not make it. He was in good health. I know another friend said his son had worse hangovers than the effect of Covid19. These players are taking a chance but is their chance worse playing football or circulating in the private sector,
