I said when this all shook out during realignment that getting out of R4 in this classification will be a murderer's row. Let just hope our rep is not a walking wounded show for the semifinal round!

What happened to Beeville I did not see Beeville in the top 25 I did see El Campo at number 9. The game between Calhoun and El Campo should be a good one.

Miller is going to be good no doubt but they ain’t the only team getting transfers in others are just not advertising it yet.

They are definitely going to beat the crud out of each other during District play. And it's entirely possible 2 teams from this district face off again for the region championship. Should be fun to watch.

Especially being there are only 21 teams in R4 in this division. lol Actually a bit crazy to think that all but 5 teams in 4a D1 R4 make the playoffs. Probably extremely important that you either finish 1 or 2 in district so that you go into opposite sides of the bracket in order not to meet up before the regional finals! I actually believe at least one of the D15 will play for a title in the next two seasons and very possibly bring it home. Honestly I don't see anyone from R3 that is 'real scary'! Good certainly, but not unbeatable by our R4 rep at all. By the way, back in 2015 which was my boy's Jr year all four of our teams from our district matched up in the regional finals. Judson/SV & Clemens/Steele. That was pretty damn cool and I believe the last time it has happened in region 4.

Sinton vs Miller might be Sinton only loss during the regular season. We'll see last year Sinton had lot of opportunities in first half to build a lead on Miller before Miller got going in second half with their passing game. Sinton had a lot of fr/soph starters last season, should be experience group this season this time around against Miller. Sinton wins that game they should go unbeaten going into the playoffs.

What happened to Beeville Don't sleep on Beeville, Take them lightly and they could put a Loss on anyone else in the district. I think they may have the biggest chip on their shoulder being the only returning program in the district that was 4A last season. Their is not a single team in this district that can be overlooked. T-M could put a run together IMO if things go right for them. I know they wont be intimidated by anyone else in the district.

He will have Beeville ready and they probably will put some lumps on teams that aren’t ready.

I could see a scenario where the 4 playoff teams from 4A D1 District 15 would be the last 4 region 4 teams standing in the playoffs. Now I'll give that a 25% chance. But I'll go above 70% for 3 of 4.

Agree Hh I think it is more like 50% of all 4 getting to the R4 finals. Not many teams out there from 13, 14, or 16 that will be a threat. There are couple in D13 and a couple in D13 that will compete and may be able to beat D15s 3rd or 4th place team. Not a real scary list below to navigate IMO. Austin Johnson Burnet Canyon Lake Fredericksburg Lampasas Taylor Boerne La Vernia Pleasanton Somerset Uvalde Hidalgo Early College Kingsville King La Feria Rio Grande City Grulla Zapata
