I would classify all these teams as underdogs. We can debate that if you want. All should be in the mix come playoff time but which one is most likely to break through to win their region?

Parkland will never win their region. They have zero competition until the playoffs. They always seem to be a pick to do it but they have never even come remotely close. Wichita falls high beat them by 4 touchdowns last season with a 5-8 record.

El paso football will have more success in 6a before it does in 5a for the near future

LH has been doing great and the program is strong. However, the jump to 5a is not going to be easy...especially come playoff time. I think the jump for 4a D1 to 5a D2 is more difficult than the jump from 5a D1 to 6a D2 I hope I'm wrong and LH wins it all this year but I think it will take a year or two for them to acclimate to it. I've no doubt that LH can compete for a R4 title right away but it will not be any cakewalk that is for sure. Teams like TIvy, Champion, Brenham, M Vets Mem, maybe even Alamo Heights and a few others will have some say in it for sure.

As far as Pioneer goes, you've won 2 games in your history and those were last year though I will say I was impressed watching your game against BC. VM has a little more history to go by when making my statement above. You are much closer to both and know the programs so if you say Pioneer will be the team to beat from the RGV I will defer to your judgement on it. If your pioneer team is as good or better than last year I'd say they stand a pretty dang good shot at the regional title this year.

(Believe he was #1 when they played wagner in the 4th rd in 2019, had like 2 tds i think) Transferred to cornerstone christian and we all know cornerstone recruits. As far as coaching mission vets is better than pioneer but pioneer talent wise is a notch above everyone in the valley. Yea mission vets has the history but this year is one of there weaker classes imo.

Has a laser 4.6 as of like 3 months ago. Might be into the 4.5s by now. He plays bigger than he is too think more of a deandre hopkins type of reciever where he just has great ball tracking and knows how to body and position himself, a possession reciever and great routes. He just recieved his second d1 offer today.

I've never had any issues with kids moving around from one school to another if their parents make a legitimate move in to that new school for whatever reason. What I do have a problem with is these 'scholarship' type private schools who have kids who live all over the place (other districts) playing for them. I simply do not feel any of these private schools should be allowed to play in the UIL against other 'normal' UIL schools! I mean can you imagine if we opened up a small private school in the FM 78 area and selected the best of the best kids from Judson, Wagner, Steele, and Clemens? SMDH

Again, I hope old Coach D reaches deep into his bag and has the Cats fired up and ready to go and they put a popknot on their head!!

Really missed by not including North Forney in the poll. So far they are making some noise.

Can you add a COVID option? Top teams will miss playoffs because of COVID. Favored teams will forfeit because of COVID and multiple "underdogs" will probably win State * because their opponents had to forfeit...
