I wanted to only take 1 district from each region but I think D5 is no sluch (Aledo, Arlington Seguin, Burleson, Cleburne, Everman, Joshua, Mansfield Timberview, Waco University). We should make the honorable mention section.

The toughest district as in competitive within the district, or toughest district with deep playoff run implications?

The toughest district as in competitive within the district, or toughest district with deep playoff run implications? If its most Competitive within the district I'll take D12. PNG, BH, Nederland and Crosby will bet tearing each other up during district.

D5 is a much better district as a whole. Most of D7 will do well against each other, but will not fair well out of district or in the playoffs.

All 4 playoff teams from district 3 last season made it to round 3, eliminating all teams from districts 1,2, and 4 in the process.

It all depends on the criteria to define "tough."

You saw how Cooper took Aledo to the limit and got kinda robbed in my opinion. I think the winner of region 1 this season, which added another good team in Grapevine, should have a real good shot at taking down Aledo or whoever wins region 2.

They without a doubt got robbed of a turnover. Granted it would be ball starting on your own 2 but game would still be tied. Regarding Region 1 vs Region 2 in the semifinal, Region 2 will win. No matter the team. $50 charity bet if you want.
