No worries, It has nothing to do with someone agreeing with me, I don’t care about that or getting razzed, some of it’s actually funny and deserved. Just taking what I said out of context, makes it exhausting to even have a conversation. I don’t care if someone doesn’t agree with me. I can admit I am definitely a homer and can’t help but be all in on kids I’ve invested in and care about. Heck, we are all 'homers' to some degree or another or we wouldn't even be on this or any other forum and to me that is what makes it fun. The banter and back and forth is what it is all about. And if you weren't all in on those kids you support most here would think a lot less of you so keep supporting them the way you are and pulling for them to have a great year. LH has had a very good program since the early 2000s with a 47-18-1 playoff record, 2 titles, and another runner-up. Show me anyone who would not want that or be dam proud of it. They've started out in 5a the way they left off in 4a....just winning. I've have very little doubt that the winning will continue there as the town and enrollment grow. Whether or not they can get to the show and win it again will be fun to watch and see. Guilty as charged... LOL

Not saying LH is the region favorite but I do think how fast they get lined up and the offense scheme will be tough to stop. Granted I think the higher ranked teams could do better adjusting but it will still take some time. LH can break off long runs but they dont have elite speed. I dont think the LH defense can shut down Pioneer or BC but LH will be able to dictate the pace. Still early. We will see.

They'd break huddle, sprint to the ball and snap it before any defensive adjustments could be thought of being made! Fun to watch, hard to defend. If LH can slowly develop a little passing game out of that offense, they will be scary good

Yes Solid against the run Not as solid against a good throwing team. I also saw where Vandegrift beat that Ellison team 44-7 last week. LH beat that same team 44-25. I have no doubt for LH to win state at this level their D will have to improve quite a bit. They may win a R4 title but we saw what happened last year in the semis.

Pioneer played their 1st game finally.. Beat Rowe 49-28 not bad for the 1st game.. Offense felt alot like last year was very impressed Marburger looks bigger and faster than last year just fooling people, should be in college already talent wise
To be honest looked very good on offense with the starters up 28-0 then they put the 2nd team offense which led to alittle sputter but overall i was impressed especially with only 1 day of practice for Rowe due to COVID testing. Could have put up 60+ but it looked like they wanted to play everyone and keep Marburger fresh
QB Marburger 32 of 49 405yds 4TDs and 115 yds rushing 2TDs in alittle over 3 quarters
WRs Gavin De La Garza 10 catches for 141 1Td Tristian Castillo 9 catches for 152 1Td (transfer) Joseph Graham 2Td catches
Defense played solid in the 1st half but got alittle gassed due to lack of practice understandable.. Rowe battled played well but 2 of their TDs were tipped by defender and into WRs hands

It will be interesting how good some of these R4 teams will be the first week of December.

Strength on strength. That would be very interesting. I have watched several Huntsville games and their Defense is very aggressive. To a point that forces opponents to make mistakes. It would be interesting to see them vs LH offense.

That offense looks a lot like last season’s, I think possibly even better at this point... Sharyland looked better than expected, we need to keep the ball on the ground, if we do, we will be pretty decent I think.

Kid can flat out sling it, very accurate from the pocket or on the run. If you haven’t seen him play, there’s a reason he’s a UTSA commit. I think he could play at higher level D1. Reminds me the type player leech always finds.
