Look like Tarzan play like Jane, woah..... Just going off their Hudl/Maxpreps account info haha I'm just giving you a hard time. Apparently only LH and Pioneer need to play a season in R4. Everyone else is just playing for fun.

I’m leaning towards Pioneer. Returning QB and some skill players. Went neck and neck with Champion last year and returning a stud QB. If they can build on what they did last year they’ll be in the running. RC, I'd have to agree with you. They impressed the hell out of me last year in that BC game and hung extremely tough. If they can build on it they have to be one of the top 2 or 3 teams for sure.

Y'all have to win R4, beat R3 in the semifinal then Aledo needs to make it to state. The likelihood of all that happening is 3% at best.

Lot of confidence in Tivy, what are the Antlers returning on Offense and Defense? I know I'm very surprised.. As far as i know they lost alot of offense, only 1 major contributor back the RB, lose both QBs and all their WRs. Defense has some back but I wasn't impressed with them last year on film. Maybe their JV team was good and they are banking on that but i dont know where all the love is from, maybe bunch of Tivy lovers on here! I think BC is going to be better than Tivy and thats because BC lost quite a bit too on both sides. Well bru, when you've won as many playoff games as they have in the last 10 or so years and beaten teams such as Dripping Springs, P Hendrickson, PLC, Hays Consolidated, NB CAnyon, Vandegrift, G East view, GP, Vic West, you've earned the recognition and respect. If not for LT in the late 2000s and Cedar Park in the early 2010s Tivy would own 5 or 6 more regional titles and possibly a state title as well. Their losses in this time frame in the playoffs have come to Calallen, PLC, Cedar Park, LT, Brenham, & Dayton...…..and only two of those games were not close to the end. If you think 2010 Tivy doesn't win state if they get by that LT team I think you are wrong. I'm not following why you believe BC is going to be better than Tivy and it is because BC lost quite a bit on both sides?? My only point is that Tivy has earned it on the field more than just about anyone else in R4 D2.

Looking at the Region I do like LH to finish no worse than 2nd in District. I only see McCallum and Marble Falls giving them trouble in district. For Bi District they should make it through unless they draw Brenham. If they do at best 50/50 to move on to round 3. That's the best I can see them doing at this point. Cant see getting past Tivy, Boerne Champion or Pioneer in that round. I think LH wins that district and does it fairly easily. The CHallenge will start in round 2 IMHO

I see what you are saying.. we shall see how BC and Tivy do in their non district games, I think those are the top 3 teams and brenham/LH aren't far behind but I just feel being around pioneer community right now they have high confidence these kids arent afraid to play those BC/Tivy teams, especially playing BC last year in their own back yard (Dome) and going toe to toe. Alot of people ive talked to thought that Pioneer was actually the better team, just couldn't quite overcome that bad first half with maybe the jitters and still had a chance towards the end of regulation to win it. I see a different Pioneer team next season more like on a mission, and i think they have the slight edge over the other two teams due to simply not being afraid of the big stage that hurt them last year in the first half.. I mean towards the end of the BC game you had people IN and FROM San Antonio actually rooting for Pioneer in the 2nd half and you could clearly see they were the better team talent or not. No doubt Pioneer impressed me last year in that BC game. What was not impressive was all the blunders and wide open receivers dropping the ball right in their hands. Those drops were very, very costly. If they improve from last year they will be right there at the top of the region without a doubt. The RGV teams have been gaining ground steadily and getting stronger each year. This very well could be the year to finally get over the hum and claim a region title.

Top in the state or region? REGION No way in hell LH is ready for a run at a title in D2 with the monsters that await out of R1, 2, & 3. I don't mean any disrespect at all but the jump from 4a D1 to 5a D1 is a leap. Now, if your name is something like Carthage or La Vega I could see a possible immediate run at a title game appearance. But LH was not very successful in their games against La Vega in the past few years.

What i said has nothing to do with respect of Tivy or anything, I know how good they HAVE been, but I'm going based off of what they have coming back this coming year and I went to watch them 2 years ago in the playoffs vs PLC and I honestly was not impressed they are just like any other team in this discussion, they ARENT a LT or Judson like team that may look unbeatable every year.

And I think BC and Tivy lost quite a bit but I think BC has alittle bit more fire on offense coming back with 2 WRs, the TE and I was told the backup QB is an athlete just not as good as Luke Boyers, he single handily beat us in R3, without him wouldnt have been close.. Thats why I give BC the upper hand against Tivy but its slightly not by much.

It would have been the Region IV championship and I'm not sure if CP could have beat KT with Johnny! CP's only chance would be to have played keep away by making him stay on the sidelines for most of the game. Johnny football always seemed to find a way to put the ball in the End Zone not matter how much time was left on the clock. I can't remember the year but in the second round against KT, they went toe to toe with CP in the first half, and was the ONLY team in history to hold CP for negative rushing yards in the first half!!

Tivy needs to do a better job of scouting in the play offs. They could have succeeded on one fake punt and won the game with Calallen. Cal retreated to quick to block for the returner and Tivy could made a first down or more and the punter punted. McCallum saw that they needed to go after the QB and saw he could not take a hit and it worked.
