This was a legit move for this family. Can you imagine the commute his dad was having to endure every day back up 1604 all the way to the far north side from IH35!
Besides, Judson already has a good QB and there is a chance we will not even see him at that position.
I can say this, Brandeis is gonna be hurting without this kid touching the ball every snap for sure!

Not sure what’s up at Brandeis. Another good player from Brandeis transferred to Taft, I’m good with that!!

Well both were ruled ineligible by the district committee 6-0 for playing this year with Judson. Surely they will appeal the decision.

I don't know Butler's situation but I can guarantee you that Battle's situation is going to get appealed and overturned and if it doesn't, they will sue the crap out of the district and win. It is absolutely pathetic that his transfer was even brought up when his dad was commuting from the Brandeis area to the Judson area every day for work and moved to avoid that. SMDH What is the most pathetic about it BNB is that if these two kids were average players we would have never read about their transfers at all much less seen a jealous bunch of district committee members do this!

Jordan Battles and LJ Butler both rules ineligible to play. They were ruled ineligible about 3 weeks ago. Are you talking about their appeals here? I really don't understand this at all since both player's former coaches signed off on them to leave. Especially on Butler who was just moving from one school to another within the same school district. I smell a lawsuit or two coming much like what happened with Jerrod Douglass back in the day and I think the two players will win in court

They can still go back and play ball at their old schools.

Battles had a legitimate reason to transfer some 20 miles across town to a new school district. His father was moving closer to his job.
Butler was a bit more suspect as he was transferring in the same school district to a football power.
