Before I answer I want to know if we have a bet or not. 50 for charity. Your on. As of right now Im the most worried about Ennis. I do think we could beat Corsicana that is a year older but they will be good. I dont know much about SOC this year but until I see them against Denton Ryan I have this feeling they will be good. Frisco is another team I would be worried about but they have to get through Ennis first. If Aledo makes it through all that then you have the winner of R1. I told riderraiders74 two seasons ago that I think this could be the year they beat Aledo. They have a lot of experience returning and a 2 year QB coming back. If they dont beat Cooper then you know Cooper will be tough. Cooper has one of the best LBs in the state and their QB returning from last season that gave us trouble at times. I know Cooper lost kids but we lost a good group too. If we get past all of that then we have the R3/R4 winner. I do think R2 is the toughest this season but you never can count out a state finalist. If Vegas laid odds they probably pick Aledo as the favorite but I just feel much better about betting the field.

Ennis took Aledo to OT with less talent and they may be stronger in Coach Sam Harrell's second year. He played for and coached under a coach who has won more state tiles than Aledo has total. Have to wait until next year but I suspect the Aledo Coach will be scouting Ennis Early.

Maybe I'm not that good at reading english or you're not that good at typing it. Will you try again with your question? What are you trying to ask? Sorry, good thing you never have typos. I didn't realize my daughters' kitten walked across the keyboard and sent a post I had started. Where does the Ft. Worth Southwest QB that "transferred" to Aledo after his Freshman year on Varisty at FW-SW (Fort Worth - Southwest) go? Does he transfer back to Southwest or stay at safety at Aledo? Will he get to compete for the position he was promised? Will there be a QB competition? Although you never answered what promises were made, here are his sophomore highlights www.hudl.com/video/3/6605887/5e0021e73448921248ca7d72

What about the General Booty sweepstakes? Can't forget about that. Several in the running for him locally.

I don't think non-academic transfer issues apply for a kid coming from a private school or vise versa so there should be no problem there. If Fleming is being looked at for QB, then nobody probably saw that coming. It looks like Audie Isbell would get a look he'll be a Senior, he has a big frame, good arm, and appears to have good mobility for his size. Fleming looks like he is a multi-position player. Everybody can see his play making ability on special teams returns and can obviously add a punch to an already dangerous WR core with Pellegrino and Earle. The academic transfer from Kennedale is a steady RB. However, it looks like he can be used at CB as well. If that is the case then he could trade places with Demarco Roberts and he ends up at RB full time. Roberts is a good RB and maybe the closest thing to McClellan but you couldn't go wrong with either Roberts or Ryan Williams in the backfield. The defense should be as good as they've had. It will take a lot of work for somebody to keep Aledo from #10 in 20'.

Just noticed a senior who would be in the mix for the starting QB and punting position transferred to a private school in Arlington. That makes the second kid who went that route who could be starting for us. Here are his Aledo highlights. www.hudl.com/video/3/10059201/5eacf65119a56f07e0421b8b
