So all you can do is attack my son ? I never said he was on the bench where did you get that ? I said he wasn't a varsity player at GP and I was kinda glad. He can now tackle properly thanks to better coaching. Again I know you are frustrated because the good ole GP days have come and gone forever. Again , you might want to come to a program where you can actually cheer at the game.

You know what, if you are suddenly so thrilled with RF, then start a RF thread on the correct page and forget about all the GP bashing! I saw dad's like you for years in Little League. They all had rose colored glasses on when it came to their sons. You just have fun over there. Doubt any GP fans will miss you. What happens if he makes varsity but doesn't play? Where to next?

Come on guys Enough with the personal stuff. I think you both want the same thing for GP and would like to see them back in the race year after year. 37, I know you are frustrated...we all know you are frustrated. Maybe you could tone it down with the negativity just a tad? It comes out in a high percentage of your posts and I can see why it has some of the other GP posters a little heated...……...especially those that have kids in the program. We all want to see our local kids attain as much success as possible and it is frustrating as hell when it doesn't happen. Trust me when I say I get that. Come watch one game in our seats and then see if you have as much to complain about on the sidelines as you think you do! There are other schools not as frustrating as GP has been. My headaches are gone and I sleep good at night now. yes, I'm sure But how would you like to sit and watch a team loaded with Saturday players struggle to beat teams with FAR LESS talent. Think that would be a little frustrating?!

I just find you two sisters funny that's all. Defending a lost cause. Clemmensbuffy has not even seen the team in years and GPfannie55+ is the only fan left. LMAO

LMAO Wild Bill you just might be right about GP. Rhoades has rightly deemed GP a lost cause and will be gone soon. As much as I hate to say it but GP just hasn’t got it anymore. The teachers run the asylum. Once Rhoades is gone and GP wants a new HC/AD no self respecting coach would touch the job for any amount. I don’t blame the kids, I blame the parents of neglect of athletics at GP. I’ve seen this coming for years at GP, and it started at the top at GP. GP high school and no discipline at all. It’s pretty disgusting to see what’s happened to our schools and athletics just isn’t important anymore. The parents at GP let this happen and hired Dr Clore who got taken over by overzealous teachers who now control GP. Thank god my kids have moved on from that school. I’m done with GP and Portland. Good Bye!

Go post on the RF thread. You're the type parent we DONT NEED at GP. Things will change at GP, when it does people who bash the Cats will be back on the band wagon. Can't wait for that day!!! (No it won't take long).

I bash the parents who teach their kids that it's better to run away and go elsewhere than to work harder and achieve his/her goals. Fighting through adversity is part of life!! Parents are the issue so many times.

Students don't fear teachers or administrators. Students fear or don't fear their parents. That fear of your parent is what leads to you respecting or not respecting a teacher or administrator. Point is, if your kid sucks at school or school related activities that's a parenting problem not a "liberal teacher" problem. I've heard it all now lol. G-P football is mediocre because of "liberal teachers" and chosen hair styles lmao.

Them's strong words Cochino. I attend lots of grade school kids soccer and it is hard to keep the moms from running out on the field to kiss the kids booboos when they get knocked down. I went to elementary school with a kid that was super athlete 70 years ago and he had size and speed and his mom would not let him play football because he might get hurt. He played baseball. blucat failed to mention the band a few years ago at GP to start the season and they had been standing in the sun for 35 minutes and they started passing out an they had to call a ambulance and haul 7 of them to the clinic for treatment. The Band director was investigated and he told GP to take this job and shove it. I called it Chickafication going on at GP and it could be called Wimpification. Let me tell you about this kid growing up at GP who got hurt over at Banquete at a 4 wheeler race track. It flipped and he went over the front and the 4 wheeler ran over him. They Halo flighted him to emergency room and the Helicopter pilot asked him if had been to emergency room before?. He said 28 times. He was hurt in previous gocart races and in a few farming accidents. He races Super modified over in Corpus and other tracks in his spare time. He has a degree in GPS and travels a lot. I took him sky diving with a back brace on from injuring his vertebrae in the 4 wheeler accident. Johnnys and bluecat know my grandson. We have a problem all over this country of not having a father in the family to discipline the kids.

Whoa Nellie, wildbill I am still here and will buy my usual season tickets. I have a great grand daughter that has been playing QB and receiver in flag football and basketball and will be 6 ft tall before she gets out of 5th grade next year. The girl plays against 90% boys and has levied a few trying to get their flag. This tomboy loves to fish. Her ambition is to be the first female QB for the Dallas Cowboys in history. I told her not to let anyone tell her there is something she can’t do. Wildbill you are correct GP is getting fewer fans in the stands.

Haven't made the playoffs for a while so it's natural to see fewer people. I remember several years ago when Miller sucked. We played them at Cabinness field and I swear they didn't have 60 people in the stands. There band had less than 30 members. Now that they're winning look at all the"fans" they suddenly have.

There was a shakeup in administration in May at GP and a reduction and demotion in some Administrators.
