Carthage has 32 graduating SR’s Coach May be rebuilding. He seems to be pretty consistent so far.

After watching this game, anyone that thinks 4A D-1 is much of a quality drop from 5A D-2 had better watch it again. Those 2 teams were tough.

I think Carthage would have beat Calallen this year, but I don’t think La Vega would have. There is definitely good football in 4A-D1, but I honestly think only a couple of the top teams could compete in 5A. I watched Argyle and Stephenville, which was a later round game, and they’d be 3rd or 4th seeds at best in a lot of 5A districts.

I tend to agree Carthage was at another level compared to the other three teams who played in the two 4A 'ship games. Glad they are moving down to D2 next year. LOL

LOL Carthage beat 4a D2 champ earlier in the year, Pleasant Grove only loss of the season.
