It is nice to see the team play well and be recognized as a team. There’s still a ton of games to be played even in this tournament. Coach Jonse will keep the players grounded and focused. I meant my comment as a compliment but oh well It was taken as a compliment, the boys are playing good baseball and they do deserve credit for playing well. Buts it’s early in the season and they just need to stay focused on playing well right now. There’s mostly seniors on this team and they are experienced high school players.

A very good ball club, ran the bases, made good contact at the plate and good pitching. 1st loss for Sinton pitcher, he was 5-0 last season as a freshman and came in 1-0. Sinton has 5 starting pitchers. Friday most likely Wyatt Wiatrek and Jaquae Stewart and then Blake Mitchell would be my guess saturday against Vets.
GP past few years have started to show to be a strong baseball program.

Both baseball and softball have improved over the years and hopefully they can carry it on for many years in the future. There are many strong baseball programs in the Coastal Bend and competing against teams of that caliber improves all teams.

Most impressive with wins against those high caliber teams so far this year Good luck

Moody appears to be down again this year.... Wonder how long the Moody faithful put up with it?

The season is early. You never know how the season will unravel. But GP beat #1 and #3 preseason class 4a teams - back to back
I would say that is a pretty statement of GP potential the rest of the year

So are there more games left in this tournament? Any other team go 5-0?
